I've found dupes that use the White Headband from this add-on, but I cannot for the life of me find the prop in the spawn menu. Is there something weird I need to do first (pretty new to gmod, so if it's considered common knowledge I probably don't know), or am I just blind and/or unlucky?

Both traditional headband are only colored pink, am i missing a addon for the texture ? if so, which is it ?

these are for the ragdolls. bonemerged the same way you would clothes, right click inkling, left click clothing

how do you wear the hats

this is not an issue with the addon. they normally don't spawn in in wireframe. clearly you have some other addon conflicting over it, as these by default don't have such an issue, and neither do the clothes and shoes.

this addon hasn't been updated in 4 years, it's certainly no fault of anyone but yourself now

Could you take a look at your Splatoon 1 cosmetic? Both clothing and shows have some wireframe glitch, and the hats are showing errors. Your hats addon has the pilot goggles I need for my OC N30N. Especially what the kind of submaterial areas it's got.

the bandana is there. It's only the face-covering ones though, the ones from splatoon 2 were not even in anyone's possession at the time this was made.

look for the paisley one. the skull one is a skin.

they're skins and bodygroups of existing models. The what's what picture will help you. Also this is everything from splatoon 1, afair the pilot hat wasn't in 1.

if you're ever lost, there's a what's what picture with icons as to which hat belongs in which mdl file

because a lot of them use very similar meshes and it saves space to do it that way.

if it's a small clipping issue then it's probably the game itself, fission probably just changed the bone to head or bip_head and then shipped, with bone changes necessary and the materials

i doubt he'd have been responsible for that if it's in the game already. But I'm only spitting here, i'm looking at it and it's fine?

hmmm it's perfectly capable of doing this, it's just that the colourable part of the hats texture isn't done properly (it's the under the fin part that is 'colourable')
i'm not in charge of the upload though so i'm afraid you'll probably have to texture edit it yourself if you want that

I have a small request. Could you make it that the squid girl hat is able to be colored by the Color/TF2 Paint tool? An older splatoon hat model pack had the same hat and it was able to be colored, but unfortunately not in this pack.

again, it is you, possibly a conflicting addon or something. This addon itself can't be responsible because it has not been updated since march and using it on its own works perfectly fine.
