I was playing as another civ and got a Paladin as a gift because I completed the patronage tree but was unable to make a siege unit on forest tile (without a lumber mill). Is it because it was out of my workable range?
Cool idea, by the way.
Charlemagne didn't meet the requirements for enacting the Carolignian decision (only had his capital, no conquered cities at all), yet he still happily renamed himself. How is this possible?
Using your 32 civs DLC pack from civ fanatics, but with Charlemagne all players get the option of a free social policy/great prophet when the player using Charlemagne gets one. Only the social policy choice actually works for other players, but this obviously means they get a free social policy every time you earn a great prophet, completely breaking the game. Is there a fix for this?
If you choose to take the free policy instead, then you won't get a religion, yes.
Also, "Whenever a Great Prophet is born through Faith, you may choose instead a free Social Policy." It says "instead" does that mean that you can't found a religion?
