If you guys want to whine about Chimer being the Dark Elves then go ahead but i prefer to not whine and if you dont want to be a Chimer then just dont but technically they are a lost race because you never see a Chimer unless it is in a mod you only see snow elfs if they are Falmer or in the Dawnguard add on towards the end of the second to last mission.All i am saying is if you dont like the idea of changing the appearence of a dark elf to this good looking warrior,Rouge, or a mage then that is your guyses problems but dont blame it on the mod aurthor for haveing a great idea and searching through skyrim history to make this mod for us.

@Lanky182k The Chimer were cursed by Azura, not a divine, to become Dunmer for their misuse of Kagrenac's Tools

the chimer were turned into dark elves by one of the divines (might have been Lorkan) for there mis use of the 3 dwemer artifacts (keening being the only available in Skyrim) so they are not lost just different

for some reason, i'm attacked by people in cities, like i picked my race as a dwemer or dwarf if you want to call it that, and people not all, are hostile to me, is this a bug?

how could the chimer be in this? they all turned into dark elves!
they are not like the dwemer if a dwemer is in oblivion in the middle of when all the others disapered because of the magic to cover a whole realm the dwemer doesn't go but if a chimer is in oblivion it still turns into a dark elf. and the one dwemer that lived was fat had robot legs and no waist so how can they reproduce or did they learn to make test tube babies? discover how to make sperm cells with their skin and they where able to self-reproduce.

@Andyysplash The Ayleids weren't wiped out by St. Alessia. Several Ayleid kings were actually allied with her, and they went on ruling their city-states for centuries until the Alessian Doctrine declared all Mer as enemies of Men. They weren't overthrown, however, as they mostly migrated peacefully to High Rock where they contributed to the rise of the Direnni Hegemony.

@UnderForgeMODS - the Altmer were always on Summerset Isles (or at least that's the first place they were in Tamriel depending on who's creation story you believe) and some Altmer left for Cyrodiil partly because of cultural reasons (Daedra worship) and those became the Ayleids. The Ayleids were then wiped out by the St Alessia, and some managed to escape into the wilds and could have joined any of the Elven races or are hiding in some cave somewhere.

Why the Chinmer? They are just what Dunmers where before the angered the daedric

The Maormer or Sea elves (not sure if I got the elf name correct) are still alive, but not in Tamriel

This Mod seems to break the Dark Brotherhood missions. Specifically when the Chef in castle dour. She says "I just..." and the dialogue interaction cuts out. You can't pickpocket her, kill her, or the emperor without her. I think it's because she says in the vanilla version "I was expecting an orc" or something like that.

found a bug that doesnt really matter but when you use the snow elf frost power thing and go into active effects it appears as a illness
