нафига крафт обычной солнечной панели изменил добавив туда трубу? приходится начинать игру без этого мода да и после убирать каждую панель чтобы его отключить не очень удобно.

hi. so uhm even if its last updated in 2017 this is still the best solar panel mod to me and maybe there is a chance this gets a little work put into it again. would be sad if i have to search for a replacement :( i really like the models. so here is what i noticed: 1. the blocks doesnt show in the G-menue including progression unless you search for it. 2. something is off with the materialnames (the golden components get mistaken for the blue ones or something) wash your hands and keep your cool

@foogs yeah i tried that with another mod aswel but it stil wont show the items, so at this point im geussing the LCD script mod is broken or something as it refuses to show custom components. sad thing is that the auther has been offline for almost a month now so i cant contact him

You can use modded items names usually found out by removing spaces from what the display shows in all items summary.
So for example: Super_Mega Large Bullet would be super_megalargebullet

So, what is the point of these new solar panels? I assume they generate more power? Is there a discussion that points out these advantages?

Other than a nicer aesthetics, are there improvements over the old version? I have a lot of saved-to-clipboard ships that use the old version, so I don't know if I want to switch to the new one or not.

I agree, but it's better to invest in the regular solar panels then, as you won't waste a lot of uranium (and platinum?)

Because 1000 kg of Uranium will in a reactor produce 1MW of power for 60000 minutes.

Have you never heard of an investment? you invest your 1000 uranium to make the solar panel, and then you get 1MW of power from that point on without having to use fuel. It honestly pays itself off once it generates 1000 uranium worth of power. How is that so bad?

I love this mod, but unfortunatelly, this is absolute useless in survival mode. 1 large black panel create 1 MW of energy. This is really good, but I need much more than 1000 uranium to create that? :(
