I see you won't be supporting this version any longer. That's a real shame, but I'd rather have quickdraw for all than not be able to have it. I'll just end my turn myself unless I've picked up the perk. Thanks for all the great mods.

This mod gives all pistols quickdraw capabilities by default whether or not the soldier possesses the perk, and I mean all of them, primary, secondary, and utility pistols. What can be done about it? Already tried removing the file X2AbilityCost_QuickdrawActionPointsPatched but it didn't seem to have an effect.

How can I alter the damage values of these primary pistols? I got the mod that switches the coil and plasma tiers so that coil is top tier and I wanna keep things consistent.

Hi, I want to use primary pistols - specifically just the SW DC-17 blaster for my SW Clone Trooper theme - but I don't want to have to add new classes. I want to be able to use an exisiting class - specifically the sharpshooter since it has a gunslinger skill tree - to have the option to use a pistol as primary, instread of a sniper rifle.

Can the infiltrator hold a modded pistol instead of the vanilla gun ? It's not very immersive with the Lagacy weapons.

You should make it so that it increases the mobility even further, because in LW 2
the SMG increases it by 3, and the pistols do the same here. They should give at least 4 mobility in LW 2 so it beats the mobility of SMG.

When I upgrade Primary Pistols with Stocks (Damage on miss), there is no effect in game. Not sure if its this mod or another mod causing the issue - any insight?

Just opened a Lockbox and got a pistol with an Advanced Scope on it, so yeah I think primary pistols should play nice with weapon mods.

I think it'd work fine with regular weapon mods, since as far as i know pistols don't get their own and just use the same as guns, at least in Mod Everything Reloaded - presumably that includes the gunmods added by Grimy's Loot (like the...I think Red dot sight? the one that adds aim and crit on flanked enemies), unless my brain isn't functioning again. The mental image of a repeater attached to a sword is hilarious, by the way.

Ah i see you mean the drop chance of primary pistols. that i can support. What doesn't work is that grimy recognizes primary pistols as pistols, so it would probably add regular weapon mods to it. Which isn't probably as bad as with the primary melee weapons.

@Musashi Ah, that's a shame. Was hoping it'd be mostly you-based since I have no prior experience in this sort of thing since primary melee had it. Hopefully Grimy & co pop up before everything turns to lemons.

It will probably be combustible lemons. Even cosmetic mods seems needed to be recompiled because wotc uses new shaders (The Photobooth app showed that). And more complex mods dealing with gamestates and visualizers will need fixing for sure.

Whoops, I should clarify: To add INTEGRATED support for it. Technically most/all weapon mods should support Grimy's Loot, it just requires some .ini foolery first.

Is it possible for you to add support for Grimy's Loot Mod? I was bummed when I found out this mod didn't operate with secondary pistols being the same as the primary pistol, which makes it unable to use Grimy's Loot without support.

I have a gunslinger that learned shredder from the Advance Warfare Center but for some reason it doesn't proc at all. Was just wondering if this was a bug or if its just me.

So I have a few modded pistols I put into the game, when I try to use these as the primary slot they don't show up, instead they're in the secondary with a sharpshooter class lock on them. If anyone knows what I'd have to change to get this to work it would be appreciated!

You can edit ammo in the XComPrimaryPistols.ini. Look for entries ending with "_ICLIPSIZE".

the file to edit is the xcomclassdata.ini in the mod folder
add +AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, WeaponType="pistol") below the shinobi entry. It's way down the file.

Hey guys, this may be a bit of a noob question, but I've never messed with ini files so I hope someone can help me out.

Where exactly in the ClassData.ini do I paste the code to add primary pistol to that class? I want my LW2 shinobi to be able to use pistol as primary, but everytime I add in the code it breaks everything. Every characters' skill tree disappears and they are able to select all weapons as primaries, except nothing appears in their hands.

I've been putting the code in the LW2 ClassData.ini file. Is that the correct one to alter or do I need to alter a different ini file?

I just picked up the dlc weapons too and likewise, I didn't get the primary shadow keeper (couldn't build one either) nor does the one added via console give the mobility bonus (intended?).
