The 8.8 cm FlaK 18/36/37, also known as the "eight-eight", was a German 88 mm anti-aircraft gun in service from 1932 to 1945. One of the best anti-aircraft guns of World War II. It also served as a model for the creation of guns for the Tiger PzKpfw VI tanks.

The 88s turned everything around, I think it was a British tank attack, and they couldn't get through the front armour of the British tank, and then an anti-aircraft battery took out the muzzle... .... And you all know it Can the author make a MOD for antiaircraft guns, please

Ah the Flak 36 such a great weapon supposed to be used for anti-air purposes but is extremely effective as an anti-tank role especially the fact it would puncture through Churchill's Matilda mkII's. Rommel incorperated it in Africa. It's misleadingly called the FLak 88 because of its 88mm barrel, even though it's real name is the Flak 36.

Well, it was an anti-aircraft gun, that COULD also be used as an AT weapon. But, ofc, there were other AT weapons such as the Pak 43, etc.

flak is short for flugzeugabwehrkanone in english aircraft-defense cannon (thanks wikipedia)

When I hear flak, I think of the rounds being fragmentation in nature.
