I think there's a model object on the rightside of the settlement board with the gear decks; If there's broken links, or other issues that might be stopping this, then I do recommend looking at Arbie's 1.5 mod since it is an updated and improved iteration from this mod.

Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but when putting down new settlements the gear decks for the corresponding settlements aren't appearing, where can they be found? Thank you!

It was either a second page through changing the state of the object (hit 1 or 2 over the object or right click and hit change state); or try flipping it over (f key); I really don't remember much about this mod; of note, though, this mod is mostly deprecated -- it has been replaced largely by some other versions. If nothing else, take a look at Arbie's community 1.5 mod as it is mostly a direct fork off this version -- they updated it to 1.5 game rules and I think some folks chipped in to increase stability and add a few features.

can someone help me? I can't find the second page of the settlement sheet. There's the cover page where you write the name of the settlement and the players' names and the first page where you record quarries, years and things like that but I don't see the second page where you can keep track of the settlement's population anywhere. Is it in the mod or should I just keep track of them by hand?

@tinnesaile After the player performs his actions, he must turn the marker with the flashlight to symbolize that he has already performed his act.

This is very useful since the acts are not in order ...

Hello, I don't know why but terrain tiles disappear from the board game when I remove the quarry from the showdown pad. Any idea in order to manage to have them back? Thnaks a lot! For everithing else this is indeed a superb mod!!!

hey ive just started a campaign with a friend but he dosnt see some of the books like the intimacy ones etc he just sees it as a yellow page, know any fixes? thanks

If I remember, the solo tool was added by request of a tester to allow for something to be done for each character quicker. I don't remember what; I seem to remember instructions are on the description field of it, though. Monsters, you drop the statue on the back shelves onto the setup pads on the pedestal in the center-back of the table. The contact should initiate the scripts. This all said, I recommend you and other folks go over to Arbie's Community Edition: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1201203150 . He used this mod as a base and has done various upgrades to get to 1.5 and clean up some outstanding bugs.

Thanks for the tip @Eskander. I've given it a try though with all those decks and it's still giving me an Error, but I'll try it again and see if anything change.

If I remember correctly, you've got yourself in a gate paradox where one of the 'safety' gates got stuck in a position that it shouldn't have. There's a reset function for resetting these gates. I have little memory of how exactly to use it, but I wrote in the common issues section back when I made this..... "Placing Monster Trophy on scripted pad results in error: "already in hunt/showdown".
Delete all components that normally spawn from scripted setup (monster hunt cards, monster figure, monster AI, HL, and basic action, monster resource). Ensure the terrain card deck is put back together and the basic hunt deck is put back together. Activate the Admin console by clicking the button to the near of the table. Hit Reset Script Variables button. Follow printed instructions --> save game, load game. Try again."

This is a pretty great mod when it's working and really cuts down a lot of the extra work, however I'm noticing over time some of the codes just stop working randomly no matter how careful I am - Right now, I'm stuck in an infinite loop where "A hunt is in progress" despite there being no Hunt. But because a Hunt is in progress, it won't let me initiate any showdowns. Unless there's a fix for this, I will have to meticulously copy everything over by hand then delete my save or restart the game after LY17 - Such a bummer.

@theshadolo It's the Heal and Reset button, on the bottom-right of the armor trackers per survivor. It'll also clear the survivor's light brain injury and remove tokens.

How can i edit the Gear spawner so it can spawn my own selection of items? lets say i want it to have a tab called 'bows' and when i click it it shows all the 'bows' i have added to be part of that list, such as for how for you it shows a gear locations inventory.

@ResonanceChaos, you can get a movement grid for player models if the player has a character sheet and the character sheet is not locked.

@SolidAnakin, If you right-click the settlement sheet and change it to state 2, you'll get a timeline where you can add events, quarries, and so on. It's a bunch of text boxes where you can type directly onto the sheet.

Hello. I have some trouble understanding the notecard regarding the settlement sheet.
The two points i am not following are these:
-can name players in cover sheet using description field. Meant for storing copies of settlement sheets without using memory for scripts.
-use '+' and spawned tokens to add events/quarries/nemesis

First, i am not sure i understand the purpose of the cover settlement sheet. Is it just to see after a glance which survivors (their names), are forming the active team at the moment and are engaging in a hunt/showdown? Or is there some additional function?

Second, I can't find any '+' buttons or spawned tokens on the sheet to automatically add new events/quarries/nemesis that i believe should come up as timeline events.

After the showdown setup, lifting the quarry model shows a white grid (I'm assuming this is to show possible monster movement). Is there a way to have a similar grid show up for player models?

There is a 5-6 player variant in the back of the book, but it's not that good. I haven't personally played with the below variant, but it sounds more reasonable than the monster getting bonus damage.

Hi Eskander. Great work on the scripting, really makes the game more approachable.

Question about the support for 6 players, are there any gameplay changes that can account for the balance issues related to having 6 players, or is it counterbalanced by the fact that limited resources must be spread among multiple survivors.

conditions for me doing 1.5: 1) some of the other modders get the components correct and consistent (looking at revised rulebook here mostly); 2) ample time and interest on my side to overhaul a lot of things; 3) a need for it -- currenltly there's quite a few modders touching 1.5 and even updating this version to 1.5. i'd need to observe the need for it

When I load a saved game mid-showdown, all the armor/damage information is reset. Is this because I'm resuming saved games on different computers, or for some other reason? It makes it impossible to save games mid-showdown without a lot of note-taking.

put the white lion on the showdown platform? should spawn the HL; it's been a while and i'll have to look at it again. if you ever run into any issues with a 'broken' save, there's a process for clearing variables that might lock the auto setups. big thing to avoid is deleting any terrain cards -- don't do that. and try to minimize moving things around from where they are intended to be -- should keep problems away. thanks.

To be honest i'm kinda blown away with how everything works so well. At most something doesnt work how it's supposed to and its just a small inconvenience. Only thing is that since so much is automated (which is absolutely wonderful and time saving) i'm constantly little afraid we'll break something badly and screw up our save. For example starting setup doesnt have the HL deck or the white lion on board etc. so i was worried i break something while getting those out and so on.

Still though, best mod i've come across so far, thank you again.

another frustration with collision changes. used to work without locking it; i doubt i'll overhaul this thing, but if i do, i'm removing all collision scripts -- too unreliable now

@Eskander, it's not really anything major, but can you explain what does this mean "Character cards dropped face up on card space auto fill char sheet with card -- removes card name when placed face down"

Hey Eskander, I found the solution to my problem. It was the lighting of the sky that was setting at black. Which made every shadow of every object pitch black

@Alien not sure what you mean. Translucid shadows? I don't remember doing anything special to the shadows. Maybe it is different lighting settings for the room?

As for 1.5, honestly, I haven't been impressed with ANY of the scans/images of what folks have already done, so I'm not keen on taking that on yet. Nognoth is, at his own pace, applying his quality control to these components. When he is done and signs off on some of these items, I MAY take the time to ensure 1.5 is integrated. (A big MAY). Note that Arbie has done a 1.5 version off of my mod, so maybe that is good to go -- I haven't looked at it.

Hello, The items in your mod have translucid shadows. How did you achieve that?
Other mods I have tested have Dark as night shadow for items, meaning that if I pull a AI Card, everything under the card will be card and we wont be able to see what is supposed to be there.
Is there a way to fix that or change it? Thank you
