Thank you, now I can achieve a deeper level of immersion.
Nurela 22 jun, 2019 @ 7:16
perfect, thanks ! :)

;-;
Eliphand 18 jan, 2019 @ 19:06
Hey this is a cool mod, I'll keep this one. (*Goes Fifty two meters off path to Crucial and important main quest to look for a Bunny who ran away that I literally cant see on the Compass*)
Enoan.TTV 21 apr, 2017 @ 13:01
Would it be possible to get one where quest marker/ custom destination markers show, but the enemy labels and locations don't?
The Hypnogog 5 jan, 2017 @ 9:48
One of my favorites!!
Morgaledh 30 jul, 2016 @ 20:42
Years later, this is still the best and simplest compass mod there is. I can't imagine playing without it.
mandckotsakos 27 nov, 2015 @ 16:09
This mod brings back memories of Morrowind where adventuring really is adventuring. Discovering by actually finding places, not have a "radar" approach to everthing within walking distance which is unrealistic. This mod makes adventuring a mystery again. Thumbs up for this mod.
Tarsus Khan 4 nov, 2015 @ 15:41
Okay...it works. Now I want it to go away. No luck.
Worland 2 jun, 2015 @ 18:45
Pretty cool. I didn't expect it to remove enemy markers and quest markers, but it makes for a more immersive experience. Thanks cynip!
Morion 17 maj, 2015 @ 8:48
Good mod, but I personally prefer to disable the compass at all. I don't think there are compasses in TES universe.
Ronidy 22 mar, 2015 @ 12:38
I love it! ;)
Coldroo 29 nov, 2014 @ 1:38
Love your mod, its now one of my favourite mods and it adds that necessary little bit to both immersion and difficulty. You should think about posting it on nexus as there's really nothing that does this there. Thumbs up!
scrub!! 29 sep, 2014 @ 17:25
It dosn't work ):
giuliano 6 sep, 2014 @ 0:15
I have the orc armor too :D
The Eldris 27 aug, 2014 @ 11:58
Tried it, but really only wanted to remove nearby placemarkers, not enemy and quest markers.
Miss Plays 8 jul, 2014 @ 21:14
I don't want it anymore. It doesn't go away.
Badgerblu 9 mar, 2014 @ 10:01
So does anybody know if the author still supports this mod?
ketchaval 22 feb, 2014 @ 17:02
I've not tried it, but to those having problems following unsubscription, have you used the Data Files option on the first menu to delete it?
feddy fivebear 12 jan, 2014 @ 12:30
I decided to unsub, and I can't get the markers back... haylp!
Bitey 5 jan, 2014 @ 16:23
I unsubscribed from this, but stuff on the compass is still not showing up. How do I fix? :T
MuserGaming 30 dec, 2013 @ 7:31
like the mod but my floating markers dont show up
ECHO Alpha 24 dec, 2013 @ 5:38
This mod works fine to me. And it is highly reccommended. Thank you, cynip! :eye: _ :eye:

This mod screwed up my compass!
Raising Hell 11 okt, 2013 @ 20:25
nvm it messed everything up i dont know what to do.
Raising Hell 11 okt, 2013 @ 20:22
i took off your mod and it messed up the compass in all my saved games. the icons are to the left and right of the compass. so is there anything you can do to help me out?
th3pr0ph3t 29 sep, 2013 @ 9:58
I hate the default compass that shows the enemies. I used to hide the whole thing and found myself opening the map just to know in which direction I was facing.
This simple mod fixed all that.
Minititano 31 aug, 2013 @ 0:23
Hi! Does this mod add written information in the journal of missions about the locations you are directed to, like for instance Morrowind did?
Is this mod compatible with SkYUI? Thank you so much
Serious Business 19 jul, 2013 @ 19:32
I'd prefer to remove it completely without removing the crosshair but this works well, thanks man!
Boxed Lunch 13 jul, 2013 @ 15:18
the idea is appreciated MoreBatteries. ty.
Andrew 17 apr, 2013 @ 15:13
not working, tested on skyrim 1.9 w/ and w/o iHud and SkyUi
Fromtherivertothesea! 23 feb, 2013 @ 7:06
@neon black that is what your map is for
dukethepcdr 20 feb, 2013 @ 19:46
Very nice! I've always thought that for a character new to the world, the Dovakin shouldn't know where everything is.
Neon Black 12 feb, 2013 @ 2:37
I like the idea and the spirit of trying to improve the game's realizm factor. A good idea for a mod, but it would be nice if quest markers were still visible :/ Don't think I'll have much use for this since i won't know which direction to walk in...
Bitchcoin™ 5 feb, 2013 @ 13:46
This doesn't work anymore.
Sungazer 23 jan, 2013 @ 7:53
It'be awesome if compass also was minimised and there was no pointer of direction of sight on the worldmap.
Night Eye 5 dec, 2012 @ 6:11
Only complain is that i wish it would show the blue marker that you set on the map. As I am the one that places it.
Piablo Riberto 11 nov, 2012 @ 10:33
@MoreBatteries How would it help to not have a healthbar? Or staminabar? Don't say, more realistic because it wouldn't be more realistic, I know when I'm tired, or when I'm hurt... So I should know when and how badly hurt my character is.
MOREBATTERIES 8 nov, 2012 @ 10:15
Great mod idea though :)
MOREBATTERIES 8 nov, 2012 @ 10:14
Hey everyone if you want a true real skyrim experience make your HUD opacity completely at 0 so it's invisible and just force yourself to play that way. I PROMISE YOU THE IMMERSION IS TEN FOLD WHAT IT ORIGINALLY WAS AND WILL CHANGE YOUR GAME EXPERIENCE FOREVER! ITS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD YOU DON'T EVEN NEED THIS MOD!
duztdruid 4 nov, 2012 @ 9:59
This one doesn't work for me after the latest Skyrim update (1.8).

Slight chance it is due to Sky UI 3 alpha though, haven't tested without it.
Tarkus 20 sep, 2012 @ 6:38
Aaaah, such a simple little change, yet such a huge impact on realism, immersion and, might I add, tension. Thanks for this.
Adorkable Fox 10 sep, 2012 @ 17:32
For some reason this mod refuses to work with this mod
TOP AIMER IN THE WORLD 27 aug, 2012 @ 18:40
for some reason this isnt working for me? is there anything special i have to do besides make sure its checked in the mod loader, which it is?
Brad 20 aug, 2012 @ 15:11
no more staring at markers. great job
Grey 16 aug, 2012 @ 17:36
MUST HAVE for old school gamers. Makes you replay the game even after investing a hundren hours in. Was added to IOSS Collection which features some similar good gameplay mods - {LÄNK BORTTAGEN}
Nlyth 16 aug, 2012 @ 13:39
It improves the realistic feeling from the game so much! Simple, yet very effective. Thank you.
Skiron 14 aug, 2012 @ 11:17
Thank you for the mod. I like it a lot and it works great!
Fairy On Acid 3 aug, 2012 @ 6:05
Is this compatible with dawnguard?
Kai 22 jul, 2012 @ 15:21
I wonder, can people customize it so you can have the 'quest icons and such' above the gauge?
