I dont think balance is the first thing that comes to mind on most of these anyway, just pure fun!

It's nice, but is very open, a Froggy G basically has free reign on this map because he can avoid everything and there's no chokepoints. There's no real way to get around the turrets to try and flank a push also. Looks very nice though.

It's nice to see that people are still enjoying this map. It will be interesting to see how the free to play launch will impact the modding scene.

So, a fun little thing about this map that nobody has noticed yet, there ain't a single custom texture to be found. All animations and textures exists ingame, and they have simply been recoloured and shaped to make this map.

Can I ask, how did you make your own background? Is it possible to change a background you already picked?

The scoop problem has been resolved! It seems like the new droppod system has brought a few glitches with it as well, so make sure to keep me noted if you find anything wrong.

As Scoop, whenever I reached the ground I fell through the ground and died, making it unplayable.

Not only is this map freakin awesome, I also feel it's extremely innovative with the graphics and has raised the bar on what it means to make an aesthetically cool map in the level editr

That is some awesome feedback! Thank you Mr.Joost, I'l see if I can get that to work.

[continued from previous post]
In the official maps we use a couple of tricks to make the difference between background and playground clearer:
*Add some parallax to those objects so they appear to be further away. This also adds some depth to the level in general.
*Add enough parallax that those objects get blurred. I guess you don't want this for the shop at the top, but it would be really useful for the big red background around the base. You can also control where blur starts in the LevelConfiguration object (the cogwheel icon).
*Slightly change the colour of those objects. In this case I suppose objects that are in the background could be a bit more blue. To achieve this, set colourCombineMode to ALPHA_BLEND and then set Colour to something like 100,100,255,100. That last value is the alpha and determines how much the colour is modified (255 means 100%). The other three values are red/green/blue and determine what the colour is modified to.

Nice map! I love how it brings a very different visual vibe compared to standard Awesomenauts, and I like the little details like the shopkeeper burping occasionally. All very nicely done! :)

Since you asked for feedback, some small things:
-When I try to move from toplane to bottomlane I often accidentally fall on the jumppad, which is a minor irritation.
-In some spots the background and foreground are difficult to distinguish. I occassionally tried to move through a wall, or had difficulty reading enemy skills quickly. Examples are the big red background around the base and the shop area at the top: both don't really look like they're in the background.

Well people, it looks like we've hit a milestone. 25 ratings! This means I get a star rating which is awesome. Ofc, the rating is sorta lying and will keep doing that untill we hit 100 or so rates.

I would also like to thank every one of you for the overwhelming amount of positive feedback. Out of those 25 rates I mentioned, not a single one is a negative rating, which is enough to bring a tear to my eye. Honestly, making the map is fun on it's own, but knowing that there are people out there who had a a match or two and enjoyed it on my map is a really good feeling.

The road from here is pretty clear. I will keep refining this map as sugestions and fedback makes its way to the feedback thread, and you can all expect to see more maps from me in the future. I have 2 more maps in the concept phase alleready, and I can't wait to hear what you guys think about them once they are out.

So until then, take care and have fun.
