I think this mod was causing certain NPCs to not load in with their items which made some VERY NAKED

dunno what i did if, for some people, the mod isn't working, but i just installed this on a mostly fresh installation of skyrim le and it's working. saw someone reporting that if you have 2 followers and try to dismiss the second it wont let you, i havent tested that out yet but i shall report it if it isnt working. good mod so far, though.

Why is this mod NOT working?

is this compatible with improved lite i have both installed canr get any npcs to join me...i have uninstalled and reinstalled the mods and its different buggy every time

Feels strange to be up-voting a 12 year old mod but I recently reinstalled Skyrim (in large part due to watching some YT vids) and I have been having a whale of a time, in large part due to this mod. Currently upto 5 followers (I am considering leaving some at home just for a little game balance) and it really makes the game feel much more alive. Yes, they sometimes block my path, and yes they sometimes decide they want to kill each other (both solved with using the "Adventurers Assemble" power) but fantastic stuff nonetheless. Doubt you even look here any more but have some Steam points anyway, and thanks again. Really rejuvenated the game for me.

The followers are immortal. Is there they can die in battle?

Seems to not work with Dragonborn (ex : with the dwemers mechanic followers)

Still having the same problem of not being able to dismiss a second follower. Get the message "follower dismissed', followed by a second message 'can't dismiss follower at this time'. Stuck with them, unless I settle for one.Haven't found the cause or solution. Mod is near the bottom of load order, well below any follower mods. Any ideas?

mmh seems bugged. i got 3 followers tofollow me, then the others dont want to follow me saying i already have someone following me.

i should be able to get 4 more.. bug?

Will you be making a SE version of your wonderful mod in the near future? I have used your mod for years and I am very pleased with it. I can't get on regular Skyrim any more for some reason but I can still play Skyrim SE.

Hey, just came by to say that this mod is a very nice one. simple, doesn't seem to add too many features, and allows just the right amount of followers. a very nice work. i would love to try using this mod on special edition, but i have not seen a port of it, either from you or someone you gave permission to, in sight. i do apologize if this comment is a bother to you, as i'm sure a bunch of people are likely requesting it as well, but i was just curious of if you had any plans on it.

For anyone having issues I write my fix aswell. If you use SKSE and Vortex don't start SKSE trough the Vortex Dashboard. Start SKSE directly otherwise Vortex will change your loadorder.

i've had this mod installed for years now so i just thought it would be cool to tell you that this mod is great and i don't really play without it anymore so thank you for making it

I'm having the exact same issue as Sayge. It wouldn't even show some mods I subscribed to in the data files section. I also couldn't find any alternatives that worked for multiple followers so it sucks big time.

Yeah, the mod doesn't seem to work for me. I've went through the troubleshooting steps multiples times and tried unsubscribing and subscribing but to no avail. Anyone got any ideas?

Strangely, having a problem subscribing to this, and getting it to install.

I have used this mod for ages, without any problems. But recently, I have hit a snag where I can't dismiss a second follower. Ironically, upon testing, it seems to affect the male NPCs. IE. I can't dismiss the male Companions, or housecarls, but I can the females. The only mod I have affecting them is Males of Skyrim. It's never been a probelm.

This started a week or so ago, after launching through Steam, it refused to load certain mods. Had to re-subscribe to many, including this one. And while the rest have continued to work as should, I can't seem to get this working again. Tried everything I can think of, including starting a new game/

Wondered if anyone else had experienced this issue, and knew of the reason and/or solution? Really would prefer not to have to find an alternate mod. This has never had probelms before.

I just want to say that I love this mod. I'm playing it with an Avengers followers add-on, which makes the "Assemble" power even more fantastic. Every once in a while my followers start fighting each other (which is hilarious), but using Assemble both re-summons AND calms them. I also like that as soon as you Assemble your party, they are ready to fight. You don't have to individually walk up to them and tell them to follow you. All in all, great mod. :)

guys it works okay? you just have to follow his troubleshoot advice. I couldn't change lydia's state with the dialogue box and she wouldn't follow me. I then read the description of the mod, used the command to make her unfollow and made this mod load last and BOOM lydia is back with the squad fam as we speak. I was so happy when she joined my party and followed me normally. so satisfying to get it to work. I'd imagine it was the "make sure this mod loads last" that did it but I think the manually unfollowing her probably didn't hurt lol.

When you get it to work, it's wonderful :D spent about a day with some mod issues and finally was able to get this one to work for me. Load it last! I have a ''turn children into followers'' mod that loads before this one, but had to disable an "added follower" mod to get this one to work. I don't 100% know if it was the new follower mod that messed with this one, but without it, this mod works fine! Maybe I'll try adding that follower back sometime, but right now I'm enjoying my legion of female warriors that follow me around sniping everyone. Thanks for the mod!

If followers refuse to follow you make sure the mod is set last in load order
if you have done that and they stay in the same location even if they are following you you can get mods like [followers can relax] to force them to stay a certain distance to you by talking to them and saying
we will be staying here for a while
just stay close to me

when I uninstalled this, I couldn't get anyone to follow me. Does anyone know what caused this and know any fixes?

I still can't have multiple followers but atleast i can use power to summon them back to me.

Great Mod, works fine with all the others I use, with only one small problem:

Since I used the special abilty to scary everyone, as a werewolf, I consantly have to remind my followers to not kill each other. And I mean kill, not just take down so they later get back up again.
To fix that, you have to open the console, select a target and type "stopcombat"; repeat that, until no one is fighting anymore.
If someone still dies, you need to resurrect them by targeting them in the console (same as before) and tpye "resurrect1". They will spawn with their standart equipment, so you got to loot their dead body first, if you want to rescue the items you gave them.
But that way I already lost Feandal. One time, this didn't really work, so now he's just like any other NPC; only answering in 4 to 5 phrases so I can't get him to follow me anymore.

For that to happen though you have to upgrade the skill, so higher level beings are effected as well.

I used to love this mod but lately I have been having problems with it. I recently had all my mods forcibly deactivated after trying to use a different mod organizer than I usually use and ended up having to start a entirely new play through. After recruiting only 2 followers and then attempting to recruit a third suddenly the first follower I recruited, without any warning or pop-up messages appearing, stopped being one of my followers and now I can recruit any more followers because all npc's say that I have too many followers for them to join me. I am not using any other multi follower mods, but I am using a mod that give most npc's a dialog option to be recruitable.

So I tried using the Wander Bug Spell on my followers but they kept walking away like complete A holes They were fine last night but when I started it up today they're trying to be dicks and walk away with all the expensive gear I had found...

This is my all-time favorite mod. Which is saying a lot, as I run 230+ mods altogether.

I have hundreds of followers in my game and use another mod to switch them to protected rather than essential. Yes, they sometimes attack and kill each other -- and that plus normal combat means you'll take losses. But eventually you learn which followers are ultra-aggressive or sloppy with AoEs, and you swap those out.

You should try to avoid combining melee followers with ranged followers (especially wizards). To be safe, every six seconds or so of combat I hit the Adventurers Assemble hotkey to re-position my people and stop any squirrely sh--. When the fight is over I hit the hotkey one last time.

I do miss AFT's outfit management system. But AFT had the nasty habit of resetting my peeps to essential and making them all unkillable. Unrealistic.

And so, Kain's mod gets the nod. Be sure to DL some follower packs to go along with it.

i cant even get followers to follow me

I seem to be having a compatability issue.

After making sure the mod installed correctly, that my other multi-follower mod was gone, and that it had loaded (I checked the powers to find the Adventurer's Assemble), I still can't get two of the followers from Kris Takahasi's Interesting Followers (3DNPC) to follow me at once. It's likely more to do on their side than yours, but I just thought that I should point it out.

Mystse yes i leave this mod in when i start a new game even if it's not at the bottom it still works very well for me
