Hey there, would you be able to make the Valken-38x from upcoming star wars battlefront II?
it's a scoped FG-42 first gen with a MG-42 barrel, all black painted and synth buttstock.

It doesn't appear on my addons list.

Due to the great difficulty of finding good sounds for FG42 I had no other choice but to use the ones that were called FG42 sounds in CoD.

I'm preparing a another option of mod, this time using the FG42 sounds from CoD 5

dusty the fg42 sound of coh1 is a door slam (literally)

the wav file is called "doorslam" 01 02 03 and so on

This is the best military sniper sound / gun model i've found so far.

I have one gripe with it though, the equipping sound when you cock it back is silent, but this is only when equipping it, reloading is fine.

I did test it... needless to say it works like a charm, and it also bring memories from that aawesome game

May i suggest something?, I remember that this weapon appears in the game Return To The Castle Wolfenstein, and in my opinion the sound of the weapon in that game is pretty cool and it'd be nice if you could add it to the mod or as a separated vpk like this one since you might not like it either, or maybe you already knew about it, then again it's just a suggestion, I loved the mod/rifle, really good job with it, cheers

Exactly, as it is very difficult to find a good sound for FG 42 I had to leave it separate. So far the only sounds of FG 42 that I really liked was FG 42 from Company of Heroes 1 and Call of Duty: World at War. It's a shame I did not get those sounds to test on L4D2.

Thanks for seperating the sound mods. It can get pretty annoying when I have to modify some really good mods just because I want another firing sound for them.
