kim 20.2.2022 klo 16.01
i cant find it in the props section and im subscribed to it where is it located?
gabian 17.1.2022 klo 7.28
nice work but as said areobatman : need a 1m version please and also update it to make it elevable please :-)
quartomeruro 16.1.2021 klo 1.30
Would it be possible to get a 1 meter version of the plastic barrier? It is very used here in Italy for construction sites and I cannot find any other publication on the workshop. Great work nonetheless!
codewitch 27.12.2020 klo 5.24
The author listed it as a prerequisite; tl;dr, you only need a mod that allows you to select props *such as* more beautification (reported as severely not working by autorepair) or Find It! 2; prop it up, network skins 2, prop replacer, etc
Komserx 27.12.2020 klo 0.48
I use "Find It" anyway I can't find it. What could be the problem?
codewitch 22.6.2020 klo 15.11
It does not require "more beautification". It requires any mod that allows you to place props, find it!, find it! [test], and other prop-placing mods will work, YMMV, I prefer to Find It!, currently using the "test" version. Otherwise, since it's not in a standard prop category, you will not be able to find and place it in the game unless, say, an intersection included one.
Angry Squid 9.6.2020 klo 13.40
would rather get this that didn't require more beautification
frosch1007 1.3.2020 klo 10.17
HEEEEEY

well

could you make an 1m Version? i want to use it at as an road border but if i build curves the 3m are scratching eatch other
ItsChris 18.6.2019 klo 4.18
Brilliant stuff! Thanks so much for these, they're great!
Dam 5.4.2019 klo 6.38
Sadly this asset it's not terrain conforming, so barriers float a little over the road despite Prop Snapping is set to allow props to submerge. It would be very nice if you can update to terrain conforming please ? This asset is very good and it's sad to not use because of floating.. Thanks for your work :)
carloshvb 30.4.2018 klo 16.57
It is possible to put in road or residencial category, I can't uso on road editor to create new roads with barrier because I haven't the industrial category on road editor
PyroFusky 23.1.2018 klo 9.34
any way to have 5 of them but not all off them?
Ra02 14.1.2018 klo 6.58
can you tell me the width and height of the model in 3DS or whatever you use? I'm making the sloped start/end thing, thanks
Ranazomic 26.12.2017 klo 3.41
how to use it on a bridge ??
HarryB 21.12.2017 klo 11.06
Okay, no worries. Thanks anyhow.
DeCzaah  [tekijä] 21.12.2017 klo 10.57
Ah you're right, it is not working with terrain conforming objects... I thought I've made at least the smallest parts non-terrain-conforming, but I guess I was right. So unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work, sorry.
HarryB 21.12.2017 klo 9.33
I seem to be doing something wrong then? I have set Prop Snapping to allow props to submerge, but I can't get the barriers to sink. It doesn't work with any terrain conforming prop. Am I missing something?
HarryB 21.12.2017 klo 9.09
Thank you very much for pointing this out. I thought it was possible but I forgot. Really love your work by the way, thumbs up!
DeCzaah  [tekijä] 20.12.2017 klo 23.24
Yep, use Move It + Prop Snapping, it is possible to move objects lower than the 0-point since a few months now.
HarryB 20.12.2017 klo 8.44
Is there anyway I can sink these into the terrain. I would like to use them on normal roads, but they float above the surface as these roads are a bit sunken.
Ra02 5.11.2017 klo 7.20
so would it be possible to make a sloped start/end?
user 8.9.2017 klo 17.27
Danke!
DeCzaah  [tekijä] 6.9.2017 klo 15.06
Ye, that should work. ;)
ninjanoobslayer 6.9.2017 klo 11.39
@DeCzaah, I'm interested in using these to decorate my CIMTrans 4 Yard Dump Trucks and the Stakebed Truck. Would you be willing to send me the model for both this and the Traffic Barrels ?
AngryDragon 23.8.2017 klo 12.54
Yeah, I disabled that particular barrier.
DeCzaah  [tekijä] 23.8.2017 klo 12.39
I know, it's an older model. Haven't took care of those things back then. Just don't use them, and you are fine.
AngryDragon 23.8.2017 klo 12.20
I notice that there's a small connector on the end of the barrier. If thoses are part of the same object as the rest of the barrier, that would create a lot of extra triangles near the end of the barrier. Professional modelers cheat a lot. Theses kinds of details will most often be separate objects. Still, I really don't get how that barrier can get anywhere near the 3800 count even taking that into account. Any vertices that does not contribute to the overall shape of the object should be deleted. That goes for any hidden face. Also, most 3d modding tools have optimising functions. I hope those tips help with your futur work.
AngryDragon 23.8.2017 klo 12.10
Your plastic barrier is showing up at a little over 3800 triangles according to the asset manager. That's an abnormaly high triangle count for such a small asset. Some optimisation is in order. As someone who has had formal classes in 3d, I can tell you that similar assets which you will find in triple A games often won't even pass the 100 triangle mark. Theses details you've added are just too small to be noticed in most cases. They should be baked into the texture.

Road & Tree Anarchy :Upvoter:
DeCzaah  [tekijä] 19.8.2017 klo 4.49
@Shivaner1
The Road & Tree Anarchy should solve your problem.
Shivaner 18.8.2017 klo 23.28
Hi i have a problem if I want to place the Barrier on the road then will it be invisible do I need an extra mod?
A. Cronauer 9.7.2017 klo 13.15
Thanks!!!!! :Upvoter:
matt 9.7.2017 klo 3.15
Thank you :D
DeCzaah  [tekijä] 9.7.2017 klo 0.51
Most of the screens on top are made by creativeDEX, but its a combination of: good quality Textures (=Theme, 4K Textures), a nice colored LUT, different mods like dynamic resolution, LOD toggler, etc., and at the end a bit of editing.
matt 8.7.2017 klo 23.35
how do you get your game to look so crisp and realistic in those screenshots. ?
DeCzaah  [tekijä] 22.6.2017 klo 22.26
@funhave nope.
funhave 22.6.2017 klo 21.28
Oder brauch ich dafür bestimmte DLCs damits angezeigt wird
funhave 20.6.2017 klo 9.11
Denke schon alles abonniert und aktiviert ja
DeCzaah  [tekijä] 20.6.2017 klo 0.31
@funhave Alle mods abonniert?
Außerdem funktioniert die more beautification mod ebenfalls problemlos.

Eva 25.4.2017 klo 9.17
wololo
Lextacy 14.4.2017 klo 17.18
@Den I agree with this. This would give the props multiple uses rather than limiting them to flat roads.
DenG 14.4.2017 klo 12.01
I have another idea. There are two kinds of prop In Ploppable Asphalt, one fits the terrain, one fits the normal inner city roads, completely solved the floating issue. So how about making another group of barriers to fit the normal inner city roads. There are many different ways to make our cities more realistic and more beautiful if we can solve this issue. Anyway, thanks a lot for creating this interesting pack.
DeCzaah  [tekijä] 14.4.2017 klo 9.15
@DenG Nope, because the barriers align to elevated terrain realistically, like fences do. This option disables the possibility to move the Z-axis of the objects with move it. Like I said: if I would have align them to the normal inner city roads, the barriers would be under the terrain, on normal concrete, on highways, and everywhere else. And to be able to place them like creativeDEX, for example, placed them in the screenshots you see (beside roads, beside highways), this was the best solution for us.
