The mod no longer works.

Just out of curiosity, but does this still work? Been a while since I last saw this, and am not sure since apparently something was done to portrait files that affect many other mods that focus around them.

How hard would it be to make a static portrait mod for me? I attempted to do so and failed miserably.

I've updated the gameplay content from this mod (mostly the special starting system+neighbors and custom empire) to work with Stellaris 3.0.* - you must still subscribe to this one for it to work.

Actually, the irony is i had made a saurian species many years ago based off of a mixture of different dinos: raptor body, stego tail, and ceratosaurus horn. They have chameleon skin, are defenders of justice, and are very intelligent. No feathers, except for a subspecies native to polar regions (i consider a saurian any reptile-like animal with warm blood). And yes, one of your skins (the red, I think) resembles one of the subspecies

I am aware that this mod is already outdated, because there has been a lot of update since the last time someone worked on it. It is a pity that the author will not come back to him soon.

@Mal, Well there have been considerable updates since this mod was first published, so it could be anything really. I think that if someone could 'condense'' it to just the animated portraits without any ships or a prescripted empire, it should be compatible no matter what.

I apologize for the stupid question, but what exactly makes this mod not compatible with the new version of the game and does not work? Unfortunately, the author will not come back to update this, so I would like to know if I can fix it myself or rather something from the upper league.

I LOVE the fact you added a skin for Blue the Velociraptor in this game! Its awesome and adorable and pays Homage to the brave raptor!

Afterthought post: Does anyone know how much time and effort it woudl take to update this mod so it would work for the current game? even if it's just as a race and not much else?

That's a real shame though. I always liked this mod from the day I found out about it.

Mod worked for 2.1 just fine, but it breaks the game if you try to use it for 2.2 Le Guin.
