Yes, it does as well as with pets.
But keep in mind they will be resetted back to level 0 upon picking up.

Start your game client, edit a control of your wish, save&exit the game (so now the file won't be empty anymore).
And now go ahead with the pickup procedure and have fun.

I went into ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor and found the input.ini. I open it and the first thing I notice is that its blank. I go ahead and add the line and everything. When I open the game I go to set the keybinding and find I can't. It showed up under controls but there was no way to set the keybinding. So I exit the game. I go back and double check to make sure everything is correct and I noticed the input.ini is blank again. The game deleted the line I had just added. So I readd it. Go back into the game. This time Pickup+ doesn't even show up under controls. So I exit again and find once again the input.ini is blank. I don't know why but I can't get this mod to work or why my input.ini is blank.

Update is coming very late this day. I missed all update slots I wanted to use, so instead of waiting and waiting for the right moment, I accept, that there will be no "right moment" anyway :)

It seems like update is disabled by funcom until Nov.4, when the new Update for Conan comes out. The update itself is basically ready to be uploaded and will have pet pickup completely removed so nobody is losing his pet anymore.

List of fixes needed according to update history (good that I really described the updates there...):
1) Fixed destroying the wrong building piece when picking up instanced objects
2) Fixed duplication exploit with the construction hammer (no pickup over the radial wheel possible while holding it)
3) Fixed duplication exploit while beeing in placement mode
4) Fixed a bug where you destroy another item close to you instead of the one you wanted to pick up (radial wheel only)

Doesn't look "much" but especially fix 1 and 4 was a brainfuck as far as I remeber.

I won't say any date, but I'm onto it the next days making a plan, trying to update it!

Hey, sorry guys... added the discord link back to the description! Must have been overwritten with the update on 6th of january this year.

When it comes to updates I'll keep it short...

Good News:
- Backup found from 14.09.2022 (so after the big mod update)

Bad News:
- Devkit is over 200GB in size and I need to move some data to free up space for that
- There were a lot of bigger bugfixes/exploit fixes that I need to implement again (means: I need to look into ALL the problems again, trying to fix it)

Yes, it does.
You only have to enable it once on any pet and will be active for all pets.
But once again - I recommend to not use this since you would loose a picked up pet.

Does that work and apply to all pets or do I have to do it for every single pet there is? And yeah I know, I tried to say that last time we spoke and even nO Pa!n is aware it doesn't work properly since it's been mentioned here before I even mentioned it.

Just a little addition.
Now I figured why you are not able to enable pickup.
The Enable Pet/Thrall pickup -option in P+ Admin -settings seems to be wonky.
If you want to enable/disable pet pickup, use the pickup options in the wheelmenu.
Go to a pet or mount, open the wheelmenu while looking to said pet/mount, navigate to the checkmark that says Enable Pickup and click on it.
Afterwards you will be able to even pickup pets and mounts (even if I recommend to not do this currently).

Aggroviking, my issue with pets not picking up was happening prior to the update and I still can't even enable it, it's disabled by default :< I can't figure out what is going wrong tbh

Alright, guys.
I also tested thrall, pet & mount pickup after this content patch.
Thrall can be picked up without any issue. Even its whole inventory will be transfered to the player characters inventory.
But it looks like funcom changed something (probably even before this patch) regarding the NPC spawn table which ends up in item loss, if you pickup pets or mounts.
I recommend to disable pet pickup serversided (same for single players) until nO Pa!N fond a solution.
Already reported this issue on the mods discord.

Thrall & placeable pickup works but pet pickup doesn't, has anyone tested anything otherwise for this mod? I haven't been able to get on our server to check if it causes any crashes.

Can you release this into the beta as well? I am trying to test a bug on that side and I think this might be the solution for the short term.

bin noch neu in dem Linux server gedöntz und ich blick da noch net ganz durch der mod is zwar aktivv aber ich bekomme kein Radialmenü und ich bekomm es net aktiv mit dem tasten befehl oder das einsammeln bei den Thralls

Noch ein kleiner Zusatz, da Du ja Probleme zu haben scheinst, die über ein Problem mit einer einzelnen mod hinausgehen.
Ich kann Dir nur empfehlen dem SAH (Server admin hub) beizutreten.

Moinsen ich hab da mal eine frage ich hab nen Linux Server und finde die Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor <--- nicht das einzigste was ich habe is die Input.ini und die is bei mir Komplett leer und wenn ich ActionMappings=(ActionName="QuickPickup",Key=None,bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False) eintrage und alles speicher den Server wieder starte is die datei wieder leer hoffe du kannst mir helfen

Didn't have luck sadly with the .sav file, still not able to turn the mod on or pick up pets or thralls.

No pain, when I pickup pets (horse) it says "pets must be spawned from the "other" item tab" any idea what I can do? I've lost a few pets/thralls now :( I'm playing on SP

Not knowing that there was a way for me to edit something within the mod outside of settings in the game when there is no documented info anywhere that I've seen nor anyone prior to me who had the issue saying it could be done doesn't make me a fool no. Why would I think of doing something I have no knowledge exists to do, I'm not a mind reader. All I can do is read the info that is at hand and use it to my best abilities, you however, clearly had extra knowledge that I didn't but instead of choosing to be kind and helpful you instead were rude, a little kindness can go a long way. Thanks for the suggestion, I will give it a try and report back to the mod author if I still find I have troubles with thrall pickup as others seem to have had. Hopefully I won't and all will be well.

So you didn't even think of editing pickup+.sav manually to enable thrall pickup and upload it onto the server directory as writeprotected.
But I'm the fool, sure. ;)

Firstly, no I wasn't 'telling us' I was talking to the mod author. If you read further below, another person has the same issue as me, further back on the second page someone can't turn the feature off, nO Pa!N himself said on this very page 5 comments (I counted for you so you know exactly where to look) below yours that picking up thralls isn't quite working properly as well. So no, it's not just my server obviously. I know that reading and clicking buttons can be hard but try your best to give it a go before you decide to be rude to someone who wasn't even talking to you and make yourself look like a fool.
