Do you want a parked version, with the rear wheel on the ground?
Captain James 20 Mar, 2017 @ 9:18pm
Cool! I didn't notice that, thanks for the advise... but i'll use it as a decoration on my airport entrance, on the ground ;)

For the full effect, I faked that the plane is hanging by some wires... it's the street light from GCVos pack https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=609644643 (the one in his fourth picture)

I meant the skyline's :D I'll search it, thanks
AmiPolizeiFunk  [author] 18 Mar, 2017 @ 3:47pm
or do you mean the skylines building? That's just the vanilla library
AmiPolizeiFunk  [author] 18 Mar, 2017 @ 3:47pm
It's the Deutsches Technikmuseum (German Museum of Tehcnology) in Berlin

Awesome asset! Small question: what's the name of the building in the pictures?

I plan on making a 1:1 scale of Melbourne, Australia.

I tried to do it, but it's really complicated. I'm running around 70 mods and 600+ custom assets. I actually made collections for those. But then there are about a dozen assets by steam workshop contributors that I tweaked in the editor, that I would have to upload somehow. I'd like to share the whole city, but that effort is on hold while I figure out how to handle those tweaked assets.

Is it possible for you to share with us with your Berlin? :)
AmiPolizeiFunk  [author] 18 Feb, 2017 @ 9:08am
Thanks for all of the downloads and upvotes, everybody. I can't believe this made it to the frontpage. Would you guys like a parked version (w the back wheel touching the ground and the plane at the correct parked angle) and a flying version (with no propeller blades)? Or is everybody just putting this on the roofs of buildings? :P :medkit:

It's the "Grand Library" from the stock game. Would be killer if someone would do the actual Deutsches Technikmuseum building
paragliding 17 Feb, 2017 @ 6:44am
Amazing! Thx! Waht's the building below?
Darf 16 Feb, 2017 @ 3:41pm
Great job, very good first attempt!

Heh, simple questions with very complicated answers! I've just learned how to do it in the last week or two. Yeah, blender is a free 3d-modeling program (3ds max, maya, and sketchup are other possibilities). You can export a .obj file and additional texture files (like diffuse, specular, illumination, alpha, normal, etc) and then import the asset into Cities:Skylines and the Unity engine.

Is blender a tool to create objects for Cities Skylines ? How are these objects imported ?
templeofdoom 15 Feb, 2017 @ 10:52am
Excellent work! +1

Yeah baby Checkpoint Charlie would be cool... As little boy we stayed hours over hours there to get the permission to drive to berlin ^^
AmiPolizeiFunk  [author] 15 Feb, 2017 @ 6:27am
Danke leute! This one was quite difficult as it's my first & I'm just learning blender. Thx to the Simtropolis community members for all of their help. Checkpoint Charlie is next :medkit:
