I didn't think of binoculars having wooden components, that makes sense now. Again, I love the design, and envy your ability :)

@Whales: Thanks for your comment! The thing with the wood on the scope originated from looking at binoculars with wooden parts - from a realistic point of view it´s basically a wooden tube that surrounds the metal below. In the case of this skin it disapears when wear progresses (factory new is the only version with the scope texture intact). Over all i just wanted to give the top part something to look at thats not too bright like silver again.
But I get your point :)
Valve can always change the finish style to Patina to get rid of the scope if they want.

Looks amazing! Little suggestion, maybe remove the wood accents on the scope, and leave it black, or maybe swap the wood for some engraved metalwork. Having wood on a scope doesn't make much sense realistically, and it takes away from the look of the skin overall. Keep up the great work!

i'm speechless. this skin is just so perfect, well maybe "perfect" isn't enough for this skin. i think you've put so much time to make the details, the skin is perfect from the top to the bottom. it gives an authentic touch to the weapon. i know it's 2017 rite now and there are so many people that like a futuristic-styled skins, but me myself like skins like this one. it just feels so original, so detailed and i dunno. i'm just amazed to see this kinda style in this time where most of people prefer the opposite

thanks a lot and i really appreciate your feedback.
I am actually playing with the idea of releasing a "elegant" version with some other wood texture maybe next weekend or so. I personally like this more worn out feeling and the washed out look for to me it plays more in the theme of storm (like wood that has been broken and blown in the sea) but I totally get your point.

Very nice design. I've faved and added to collection. I've just two suggestions, though: 1) the reddish-brown part of the design needs to be high-contrast, like how you have the silver (I'd suggest gold, but that might be too cliched... but it still work though); and 2) the wood appears unvarnished and not of a high quality -- I think an ultra-polished look would be more in keeping with the overall theme of your design. Anyways, that's just my 2 cents. I would still upvote the current state of your current design, which i already have :)
