Tried this map with a group but we were just kinda standing around Wave 1. Most zeds seemed to only attack when we walked near the room they were in making the game slow.. hope it can be fixed. :thumbs:

Remake zed spawns entirely.
Added more pathnodes to reduce infinite path finding.
Moved CustomizePoint to Syndragosa room.

No idea on how to do that man, but I absolutely love it, and I'm fine with the zed spawns tbh. I think the map can be bigger, it runs well on my own server and I'm looking to continue testing. This map is beautiful so far, and I would more than love to see it expanded and optimized!

However people complain the zeds being too sparse (map too big) and weird ping rise up and I can't figure it out where cause ping rising. This map is unwelcome in KF2 :steamsad:

If someone can tell me how to improve zed density and ping, I'll very thank him.

If this is a third party upload, I don't understand why you would care if someone said your "not the actual author", beacuse truth is, your aren't. I agree that adding the "modified" info in the title would be the best way to go about things if you wish to continue to fix and change non designs and such though. If you ever find the actual maker of this map, do let me know. Have a good day.

If this was ported directly, it would have all the missing features and such. You can clearly tell someone want through and tried to make this by hand. This is a remake, covered by fair use in most situations. However when he said "maybe you can do a complete rehaul of the map?" this was what I was implying you try and do basically if you wanted to continue this. Changing spawn rates and glitches and such I never said was a bad thing. I was specfically talking about designs to the map itself.

Woah, right I just logged on. I think you are panicking here. I never said you have to take down the item off of steam. I disagree with third party uploaders only when they don't ask the author for permision first, in this case we are left with an interesting situation. We apparently don't know who the author is. My only statement was that changing the map itself, like designs and such, is not a good idea. I also never refered to this as "pirating", I said that if modfications to designs were made without the authors permission, that could be considered "stealing". As to what "Oh Yea!!!" said about the entire maps theme could be considered pirating, I would argue that's not the case at all.

I am sure they pointing me because I am not the author and I make it goes "v4", the version isn't counts.

Also, I can't make the terrain, I didn't learn any drawing ability. All I know is coding...

I checked the video, the missing decoration like tubes and container, I can't make it because I have no idea how they "port" the blizzard game's terrain.
Also, the original KF-ICCv3, the author didn't build some decoration fit the actual one.

They will not complain the porting if I mark this content "modified"??

I am trying to restore this workshop with "clearly modified marking".

But I need the Xel'crin answer or I am afraid of more negative public opinions.

Even if you remove it from steamworkshop, other ppl can still play your version if they do it offline or some server admins probably added it to their own redirects.

This map theme is kinda debatable because you can say that the mapper pirated the idea off of Blizzard because you are able to port maps directly from other games to KF2. Also you receive no profit from this so the term "pirating" isn't exactly accurate. At this point even if you made a original ICC map that is your own, there are some who would still say its stolen. There are several remakes of KF2 maps that are refitted by others, maybe you can do a complete rehaul of the map? Again making a map from an existing source isn't original but at this point if you didn't some one else might've.

I see you've changed the map since I last played, but coming back I'm now confused. "And changed decorations in plague zone.". That's great and all, but as you said "This map doesn't made by me." and "Original author : (Unknown)", I am confused how you think this is okay to do. For all you know, the actual author has updated it and such alreday, and now your creating a parallel competing map. I understand changing spawns and such, as that's modifcation, but changing the map? That could be considered stealing, and I suggest you stop, as much as I would love to see this continued.
