okay well its compatable with the other mod we use its 12 turns per year some reason it just blanks out join so cant play any online games with mods we used the same two mods for about two week so not sure? thanks anyway

anyone know why i cant play in coop with mods the option two join is greyed out but works completly fine when mods are disabled and me and my friend have the exact same mods on it was working two ago?

Assuming you are using the more campaign years from this mod, then it should be fine. I just tested that. Otherwise, I don't think I'll be able to help you with your issue.

I did a check, and the mod does work correctly on a base Shogun 2 game. Foremost, could you navigate to "%appdata%\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2\scripts", delete the "user.scripts" file (if present) then enable each mod that you want to use. Just ensure that if you are using the Master of Strategy overhaul, that you use the specific MOS mod varient on it's own, rather than using one for the base game (Such as the one from this page). If this still doesn't work, please tell me which mods you have enabled so that I may check more directly what the issue may be.

It's not working again for me:( When I went offline and then back online it stopped working. I removed all other mods(including MOS) but research rate remains the same at the start of a campaign. Thank You:)

This, however, excludes the MOS mods stated in the description, which have specific installation instructions to proove compatable with the Master Of Strategy overhaul.

AFAIK, the only way this mod would not work is if another mod overwrites the research nodes, such as a technology increment/reduction mod, or an overhaul mod that affects the research tree. It should work otherwise.

The mod won't work for me. I've tried restarting, verifying, and checked other mods but have no clue what to do to fix it. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.

All the technologies are tied with a universal number for the research points. Unfortunetly, this means that I am not able to make anything specific to the player on the subject of research times.

If you have a save file where you can choose the Yamahoshi retainer for a monk, I could make a debug mod to test to see if it is the database or a scripting error.

Yeah, that is what it looked like to me too, but in-game, in several games I've taken that retainer and no increase in LOS is apparent. Maybe it's not LOS like a ninja but just so in detecting other agents at a farther distance. I never considered that before?

According to the game's database, everything seems to be fine with the retainer. How certain are you that it doesn't work?

Hey KardaKAX I've noticed that the "Yamahoshi" retainer for monks in S2TW which is supposed to give the monk +25 increase to campaign map line of sight does not work in vanilla game. I am by no means a modder but I tried to mod it for a correction but I could not get it to work. I am humbly asking that you address this and make a mod to correct it. Way no problem if you don't want to but I thought maybe it would be a real easy fix for you given that you know how to mod.

I just tested, and the mod does work. Check to see if any of your mods change the research points for technologies, as that will cause an incompatability between them.
