Not working in 1.5 :(

I just tried adding it to an existing save, and it killed my frames and made alerts buzz at a much higher frequency. Alt+F4 and unloading the mod fixed it, but no floors for me :(

I can confirm that this does not work for me. It might be conflicting with another mod, I don't know. However, with this mod enabled, my framerate is averaging about 3 fps.

FYI everyone. This works fine with 1.5 but not while you generate a planet. Of starting a new game deactivate it, create the map and then save, exit and reactivate. Once the map is created it works fine. Tested that extensively. So it should be

Can these floors be made paintable? I tried making a custom patch like I usually do for mods that haven't added the paintable tags, but it didn't work this time, probably because you're using a custom class rather than the normal TerrainDef.

you cant remove the leather floors for some reason

this mod may conflict with Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Architect mod. It make that mod's wooden floor use the material doesn't exist.

what are considerfed fine floors?

I know I can do it for myself with some XML, but are there any plans to add a wooden vertical parquet, to match the wooden horizontal parquet and the wooden mosaic parquet?

@Fluffy VFE architect places the substitute "stuff" to be used in place of the fake stuff in a modExtension tag:

This can be seen in the mods "FakeItems.xml" file. I'm not familiar enough with modding this game yet to know if this can be utilized in a patch, or if whatever magic is in the DLL needs to be updated.

I got this working well with VFE and 1.4. The workshop version of this mod is very far behind what's available on github, but even the most recent github version has some issues. Find the fork on github by "Kyoutaigo" and grab that version. Just download the entire repo as a zip. It has a couple of small fixes not in the main repo yet.

That still needs one more change. In the VFEArchiPatch.xml file find "StuffedFloorsMetalTiledPlate" and change it to "StuffedFloorsMetalPlate".

After that the mod should load without errors, however you'll still run into the problem reported by @Galvenox. To fix that I used the RIMMSqol mod to patch all of the floors using the fake special wood types.

Having exactly the same issue as @Tonas.

hey, some of the wooden floors from [T] MoreFloors mod that this mod organizes and puts back in the normal floor tab don't behave well for some reason. I can make normal wood versions of them, but when I change to walnut, mahogany and so on (just color variants from a different mod, part of VFE I think), then the resource changes to Walnut and Mahogany too, so makes it impossible to build. sorry if it's not your problem, just not sure where to report it or where to begin with that

+1 on the basic wood floor. I can see the walnut/beech/mahogany variants of the basic wooden floor, but the "normal" one is missing from the menu...

@Period Jarate you can use Dub's paint shop mod to paint the floors in the mean time

For some reason, this mod removes the basic wood floor, but leaves the VE basic wood floors. Is there a way I can fix it on my end?

Just pushed an update adding @Halley's changes for the 1.3 branch. We're working on porting them and more fixes and balance patches to the 1.4 branch soon.

I couldn't identify which Fluffy to @ on discord.

Vanilla Expanded Architect isn't working properly in 1.4 currently because of the carpet changes, so I wouldn't be too worried about that
