Just fired up XCOM2 again after a couple of months away and it fails to start because of three mods including this one (FYI other two are stop wasting my time - legacy and true concealment for lw2). Any ideas?

Also looking for WOTC mod that does this. Other mods i have to remove the upgrades manually which is time consuming

Ok, I've been loking for a while and on first glance this mod here appeared to be what I was looking for, but before I get it wrong:

It can only strip secondary weapons from soldiers, not upgrades from secondary weapons that are currently equipped, correct?

Would actually like a mod that equips the same items for shall we say, all your snipers, or rangers. Would safe a lot of time, especially later when your character pool get very long.

Can that be done?

Not exactly but combining "robojumper's Squad Select" and "Remove Equipment Mods" kinda does it (I tie the latter to the "Lock and Load" continent bonus and then use "Proving Grounds Lock And Load")

Yup; crashed my non-LW2 game when I just tried to load it again. Thank goodness I was able to unsub & reload my saved game file. I totally understand that it's LW2 only.

Any plans on making this non-LW2 compatible? If not, do you know of any other MOD that does this? Thanks.

This will only work with LW2 installed & not its individual modules, correct? I just want to make sure. It may explain what's happening to my game.

I see. Is there any way to enable a mid campaign don't strip named items? Cause right now it is giving me headaches. The problem is that it is stripping armors also and i would have no problem but when it strips them they also lose their 3 slots.... So i have to make sure someone is wearing them when i hit the strip upgrades.

Hm, I assumed it only affects Sparks, because there was bug with them not correctly being recognized as "on a Mission" when they were damaged. Note: My Code is identical to the vanilla code when deciding which soldier to strip. Dunno what causes these sporadic issues ;/

Yeah i can verify that the make all items available has stripped now twice my mechs while infiltrating... Strange how it only strips mechs... Well i'll just won't use it and keep the strip upgrades :)

Yeah, it's basically impossible to reproduce because you are never going to look at the gear for an infiltrating squad again until they begin the mission, so you won't know when their weapons were stripped. It was not that rare in my case though, it happened 3 times so far this week.

If I had to guess, possibly the "strip weapons" button on the Armory character sheet is the culprit (which basically only gets used when gearing Haven Advisers -- and I was doing a lot of that in the last week).

This is not the first time i hear something like this, but so far i could never reproduce it and if it happens it seems to be very rare. In your case I would just unsubscribe from my mod and see if it ever happens again. (And I would probably cheat through that one mission :p)

I have no way to know if LW2 or this mod is the culprit, but one of the "Strip Weapons" buttons I am using is stripping weapons from soldiers who are already on infiltrations. I thought I just forgot to equip them the first time it happened, but after my squad showed up in full ballistic on my Network Tower, I knew it was not just me being a forgetful dufus.

Can you add an option to remove the "make utility items available", "make armor available" and "make weapons available" icons at the bottom of the screen, and replace them with the "make all items available" icon?

New version moved the buttons on the top of the screen (near the launch button). I hope this doesnt cause missclicks, but this is basically the one spot that was still available (in conjunction with my other mod ShowMeTheSkillsRevived).

@leaderenemyboss There is a nice mod i used for my vanilla playthroughs that handles what you're doing differently, and which might solve your space requirements for this mod. http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=623564391 . It reuses the the exsisting buttons for new functionalities. Could really use your versions of the buttons there instead :)

@taptwobluemana I will probably let the players themselves decide where the buttons should go in a future update. Thing is, combined with my other mod (Showmetheskills revived) there is just no space!
