Are your planets are still working with new update ??
condottiere 2. maj 2023 kl. 21:04
If this planet still works, Patrick has created a mod, Crushing Death. This applies damage for very high levels of gravity.

WELL TARE INDEED

There is a surface technically but its very hard to walk on. Assuming you can get a ship that can withstand the impact of the 100 m/s drop you wont be able to land, you will just clip through. There is no passive damage effect that comes with the blackhole besides the damage you sustain from hitting the event horizon.

Is there ground to stand o not mine and can that gravity well tare ships apart

@aversion, thanks for pointing this out. I think this happens because this hasn't been updated yet.
There are still a lot of my planets that need updating, just haven't found time to do it.
Tonight I will be releasing a list with each of my planet's UPDATE status and an approximate ETA, so you guys can know when to expect what.
I'll try my best to get them all updated as soon as possible, cheers! ;)

Hey, thanks for the info.
I still need to fix this "planet" it has some rendering errors I noticed.

Rather late considering the date of the comments, but what Captain Shadowblade wrote is entirely wrong, 120km is very small for a black hole, and there are much, much bigger ones out there. E.g. the biggest believed one has an estimated mass of 66 billion suns, which results in a event horizon radius of around 1300 AU, that's 189210000000 km. In comparison, Pluto is around 40AU away from the sun.

Updates are coming so stay tuned.

@Nimits, hehe no, I just used to work on it a lot while doing the planets, and testing them out mostly.

Are you a dev for space engineers? You got 5k hrs on sapce engineers.

God Speed!

Gonna land on this in survival...

Also gravity doesn't size too well, so for small planets, you have to be pretty close to start feeling the pull. I hope KSH integrates the gravity falloff into the planet coding instead of having it in the game world file.
SMU  [ophavsmand] 1. feb. 2017 kl. 8:20
@whitesamuraijustin, yes I'm aware of that, but I kinda wanted it to be scary and dramatic. So that's the main reason for the 120km suggestion. On the other hand planets can't be smaller than 19km so some types of astral objects can't really be made.
Hope you enjoying the thing though. Cheers!

black holes are tiny little buggers irl. they're the size of... maybe the tallest building in the worlds height. compared to stars and planets, and even the multiverse, taht's small.
Big Red 30. jan. 2017 kl. 20:26
daaaaaang, thats sick :O

<Phone call sounds> Thank you S.P.M! I'm glad there are actually metal planets out there! <Call ends>
SMU  [ophavsmand] 28. jan. 2017 kl. 17:06
<Phone call sounds>Mr. Cosmicdevin? Yes this is Space Mining Universal speaking. Sir we indeed are going to lease some planets, with the characteristics you mentioned, but in a near future. We will contact you once they get released into the market. Have a nice day! <Call ends>
StrelokFreeman 28. jan. 2017 kl. 10:31
<Phone call sounds> Hello? Space Mining Universal? Well, do you know of a planet that is made out of metal, you know, like the Death Star? Yeah, we are a group of explorers who want to set up camp on an artificial world, so we can settle on a cool planet? Yeah, so, do planets like that exist, because I'm pretty sure they do. Okay, bye! <Call ends>

@MCzenman, it's the Oen3 Skybox. I'm glad you like it. Sure it'd be nice to see it reviewed
MCzenman 27. jan. 2017 kl. 14:34
What skybox is that? Looks super dope - gonna have to make sure to include it in my review. ;)
