It is still usable and will be unless it will be removed from the workshop. If you are looking for update configs check my link somewhere below. It changes everything to LW1.4 specs (except 4 slot for Assault Rifles which I forgot to check).

As for M4A1 working as SMG I think you need to mod this yourself. I think the gun needs some scripts so the gun would be given mobility stat.

@E3245 hmm you lost me, is this basing its stats on an existing weapon? like the m16 is just taking stats directly from vanilla assault rifle?

would you happen to know the file name you think I should be looking in? Really im mainly trying to get a mobility bonus added to the carbine and shorter barreled rifles. I HATE the default SMG and would like to take an m4a1 with the same exact stats.

It is, but the weapon balance might be out of whack (was made for LW2 1.2, not the latest version).

Is this still usable as long as I dont edit anything? tried earlier and no errors so far.
Im so deep into LW2 and it will be terrible if I cant use this or any of your weapon mods anymore.

It could be LW2 doing something that's preventing the weapon's mobility from changing. Best you can do is try to edit the base weapons inis and see if they take effect.

Also, try launching the game using the official launcher, not AML.

is this something lw2 side? i have been trying to edit other variables for your weapons and havent had much luck so far not sure what im doing wrong

Oh it's close to being done. I hope that the release is a week or two after WOTC drops.

You'll probably know when it's almost done when I give the mod to a popular XCom streamer or two to show it off.

I think I'm gonna pull the plug on this mod, since nothing ever works right and the weapon megapack is gonna overshadow this and all of my other weapon mods.

Besides, I think WOTC is gonna mess up LW2 for a long while.

I cant get the mobility bonus to work, I am editing it from the Modifiers file and have made it look like this:
+MWRM4A1S_MOBILITY = 3
but theres no change at the loadout menu

God damn UZI, I am able to turn into SMG even fuckin Barret but not this one.
In the inventory all things seems fine, but at the misson its turning off its mobility-bonus, and even more - Ive got a guy with 15+1 mobility with his UZI - but on the tactial mission he's got 15-3, according to YetAnotherF1, so its even -4 mobility in summary.
Perhaps, its using the -1 mobiliy modificator from secondary_uzi, i have no idea

OK guys I am at a loss here, some time ago I was able to get the mobility bonus working for some weapons, but now after downloading the game again I cant get it to work. I tried everything, unsubscribing from the mod, deleting config folder, switching off cloud sync, reinstalling the game, deleting inis, completely rewritng inis, completely rewriting the scripts in src folder, starting several new campaigns with different ini settings and nothing...

@silencer4 in order to get ur rookies to start with one of these guns u need to change the lw2 ini file to match this

So I've made the effort to try and make all the guns have similar stats to what LW 2 1.3 patch offers. Meaning I removed all the buffs from this mod, changed gun range tables based on the LW 1.3 models. I even added missing M16A1 file. I didn't touch the swords and for sure cannot get the balance of IMI UZI. The primary one cannot get +3 mobility and the secondary could not adjust damage and now in those files it only displays -1 mobility twice so if you use IMI UZI do not override from the files.

I'm also not sure what range tables use LMGs and Pistols. I assume that LMSs and Rifles use MEDIUM Range, while SMGs and Pistols use SHORTMEDIUM table, so I've used that range tables from LW files. I didn't test the MG and BM weapons as of yet and I'm not sure if everything is set correctly. In anyway if someone wants to try here is the link with all the modified files from Config folder

I have edited most of the stats in your weapon INIs individually already, but have noticed that I'm not getting any upgrades, even after researching. Will this file re-enable to upgraded tiers for LW2? I know there aren't any for coil/plasma, but right now I'm never getting anything after the initial tier. And will I need to apply my favored changes of the stats to the INIs in this file now instead? I'm a little lost on if this file does anything on it's own or if it's just a collection of files to copy/paste over the ones contained in the other files, I see your steps but I'm not sure if I need to do them no matter what, or only if I'm having other issues.

@King-Nogg Holy crap you don't know how long I was looking for a fix to smg detection to apply LW values -- and I feel so close now, yet I still cant get it to work. Any ideas?

When using this setting for LW2, with the MWR-M21 sniper gun mod, Tier 2 upgrade does not appear to build on the list. The rest of sniper weapons do not present problems. Any solution?

Any very rough estimate on when the Megapack is gonna be released?
Like is it this month, 4 months, a year?
Reason I'm asking is that I want to do a new LW campaign now that 1.2 is out, but I'd love to do it with your weapon mod, so if it's to be released soonish I'll just wait for it. If not, I'll just try to edit some .ini files myself.

it does work, i might have not been as clear as id like... it works but as stated, very imbalanced... i dwloaded it precisely because of the lw2 but i knew it was incomplete... and yet, the perspective of having those brilliant models on the hands of those guys instead of the cubersome models of the originals prompted me to try it... but it is as stated, very inbalanced, for the time being... getting your answer here brought a glint to my stare as i wait! thkz!

Sorta, in a way. There's gonna be two sets of INIs, one for vanilla and one for LW2. They'll be balanced for Vanilla and LW2, respectively. It's a featureless pack that mostly intented for audiences that just want to play and not want to deal with any new features, for both Vanilla and LW2.

The rebalance contest stuff is gonna be in the experimental version though, which will contain several new features, if possible.

@King-Nogg, finally got around to trying your work-around. I actually applied it to the uzi to get the correct mobility and detection radius working and it was successful Your fix worked with this MOD still installed. Great job.
