There is no Type-96-II in Arma 3, I just used another tank as a temporary replacement, because there are no actual Chinese tanks made yet.

There are some problems with the model of the tank! The layout of reactive armor looks like T-80 in the front face but consider to the layout of the smoke grenades launchers and the big exhaust at the side make it also looks like T-72b as a result! I can't guarantee what kind of tank it is but it is definitely not Type-69-II !

I know what you mean, but no-one has made any yet in A3, so I had to subsitute them.

Nice work though it would be nice to see an actual type 99 model or z-10 but this works too! :P

Faction now has full compatibility with the Dynamic Recon Ops scenarios.

As a Chinese, i gotta say the combat uniform is pretty good, the camo is similar the real one, nice job! Hope u can keep on it and put the camo on backpack and vests, thank you for ur work!

yeah they do keep it all in secret, and I think as SF they may use the weapon that is not made-in-china, so they'll probably use that AR made-in-china, or similiar weapon as PMC.

The purpose of this mod when I originally made it was for a rather simple, easy to use faction using similar mods to my main SFF factions.

I did contact VME for permission to use his gear as a dependancy for the mod and I never got a reply- I will NOT use someone else's gear without permission.

This faction is NOT of the PLA regular Army, but of one of their Special Forces units, which is why they are using some Western gear like Opscores- the few photos I have of Chinese Army SF have them wearing Opscores. VSM was chosen to keep the faction in line and make it easy to use for people using other SFF factions.

I've started to consider this my worst faction, as I was unable to gather proper sources on Chinese Special Forces equipment, or even some interviews with SF troops like I did for some of the Western groups, and it seems like none of the actual feedback I get here is positive, so the mod may be pulled from download if I feel like it's not of high enough quality.

still you should at least using the VME PLA's uniforms.

I know, the author did not respond to my request. This is meant to be a more simple faction than most of mine to get up and running, so Apex assets along with some custom gear and such worked out fine- lower mod requirements.
