So this just adds worse tarnished keeper's mechanic to the game

This curse is currently broken (you can pick up items without paying for anything), please update it to repentance.

I like the Idea, but it appears WAY to often.

If I get curse of greed when I have no key, I'm screwed.
How does the challenge work even? Wouldnt I have no keys?

It'd be cool if someone made a kinda easy to use curse api, so that modders like the ones who made curse of Armageddon and alphabirth's blessings of freedom and knowledge could all use one system so one mod dosent implement their curse in a way that stacks or overwrites curses or somthing like that, also that way maybe you could ad antibirth styled curse ui to display the current floor's curse in an easily accessible way

i'd be cool if you made non-essential bosses and/or minibosses gerenteed to be greed super greed, or maybe even a nerfed ultra greed, level probably depending on the stage.

There's some mod compatibility issues caused by mods that generate custom entities. If you give yours a Variant ID (like a really high number to avoid collisions) and check both entity type and entity variant when looking for yours, you should be able to help your mod play nice with other ones.

Yep, more curses should be like this. For the most part the current ones suck, they dont add much... heck, for "curse of the lost", I just call it "curse of tedium" because that's what it DOES. It just makes things tedious. This sort of thing though? This idea actually sounds interesting. Would love to see more mods like this that add or change curses.

This is what every Curse should be imo. Something that actually changes the way you play the game, not just some annoying nuisance.

@7ofSpades: Thanks for the info! I managed to replicate the bug. It seems the game doesn't update curse IDs when you enable mods on the menu, so it crashes when it tries to apply a curse ID it doesn't recognize. Sadly this is a bug on the game, not on the mod. You can just restart the game after enabling the mod to make it update the IDs, though. I'll let Nicalis know about this issue. =)

Most of the mods are character mods but even with regular characters it crashes.

If I start any run with it enabled it crashes.

@7ofSpades: Is it crashing when you start the challenge or just when you open the game? Do you have any other mods enabled?

this just completely crashes my game when enabled

it works fine without other mods, dont worry about it

it happens only when curse of greed is active, let me try to disable all other mods

@train's Supper: That's very strange, did that happen after getting any specific item? Also, do you have any other mods active?

i think it bugged, it spawns items like mad for me

@Laizorrbrain maybe Burnt penny, Flat Penny or so? Maybe it would spawn coins (?) if you pick up coins.

i'm unsure if it was because of Curse of Greed, but i was doing great up until a floor with Curse of Greed activated on it. wherever i walked it spawned items and as amazing as that sounds, it made it hard to get anywhere and subsequently got me killed.

Devil statue in devil room could be replaced to look like greed?

Challenge crashes, cant use it to spawn it as a curse from the console. Great work on it though

@LegacyCrono It may be that there is too much going on, the game crashes only when the Curse is applied. Hope that helps.

Not a mac friendly mod. I wish this was true but it makes me sad, the mod looks great. Keep up the good work.

@Slenderminion: I'd definitely implement that, but the modding API has no functions to change how floors are generated yet. But I'll surely update the mod once that's possible =)

@SuperStashMan: That would make the challenge way too easy, though!

Hmm. Getting this Curse would be a NIGHTMARE from Womb onwards. Perhaps you could make it so it's guaranteed to spawn a special shop (if no shops would be present) to make it a bit more fair? Perhaps that shop could only sell pickups and no items to balance it out.
