For Rep+ users, notice your Rep+ and Rep save files are stored in different folder, remember to edit the options.ini file under the correct folder

Go to C:\Users\[YOURUSER]\Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Repentance

edit options.ini with notepad and scroll to EnableDebugConsole=0

Change 0 to 1 and save :)

This worked in 2021 but later repentance got update that changed modding api so this doesn't work now. I guess this can be usefull for ab+ and prepatch repentance.

for linux users the options.ini might be in "/home/[user]{連結已移除} Games/Binding of Isaac Repentance+/"

Did options.ini get deleted in a recent update orrr? I upgraded PCs and now the options.ini file is no longer in its original position.

For any still having issues in Rep+ make sure after changing options.ini to SAVE THE FILE if you do not it will not work

If you're having trouble using the mod, make sure "EnableDebugConsole" is set to "1" in the options.ini file located in C:\Users\[User Name]\Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Repentance+.
Note: You may need to do this for two options.ini files (one for Repentance and one for Repentance+) as they are in separate folders.

Does not work, you still have to go to the options.ini and change the enabledebugmenu to 1.

for anyone who cannot find their options file, you need to look in users in your file explorer and from there click your own user and my games and you should see the binding of isaac repentance in there which will take you to your options.ini
