He is right,you must mount portal 2 to gmod.If you own it them go and mount it fast,if you don't own it them it gonna be a big error forever

Have you mounted portal 2 to gmod? You need to own portal 2 on steam for this to work.

Yeah that's a good solution but whenever my spawn list try loading something in
everything turns purple including the frankencubes

Don't set mat_specular to 0 I guess? More detailed portal 2 models like to use weird niche features sometimes, that can cause issues.

something weird is happening the frankencube's inside wire's and stuff are pink textures.

I have Mat_Specular set to 0 [odd thing is that before setting it to 0 it works perfectly]
I have portal 2 Installed And mounted [Not a textures download or pirated version]

When you open gmod, there's a controller icon in the bottom right corner. Click on it, and some selection boxes should appear. Click the one next to "Portal 2". You should now have all of portal 2s' models in your models tab, and addons like these will work.

Do you own Portal 2? If so, have you mounted it to gmod? You need portal 2 to make this work.

How do fix this? i was expecting a lovley franken turret. when all i get is a big red eror sign and lua error.

the first time i saw these cubes before i could move onto the next test i put each one of them except for the one on the button out of their mercy by pushing them through the force-field that destroys them.

Servers disable your local addons. You can only use the ones setup on the server. You'll need to talk to the server owner and get them to add it. It should work just fine in single player, or if you start your own map.
