Hi, does someone know the workshop file location?

Im interested in restoring the voices for nostalgic reasons (the robots sounded pretty cool)
would love to get the sound files

@SDP
No the German Version of Turok 2 "only" censored the Gore
sdp 24. nov. 2021 kl. 16:57
Did Turok 2 also have robot enemies instead of humans?
Brainpinker 27. juni 2021 kl. 6:01
Sadly doesnt work for me. I would love to use this because it was the first version i play back in the Day. Is there any solution?

those germans with those robots in almost every single game..........
Terg500 17. nov. 2020 kl. 5:05
@Duskaria COULD. Nobody cares anymore and games and movies come out uncensored in Germany as well now.

With all due respect, I'm reasonably sure this mod is broken. I turn on red or green blood and enemies are suddenly impervious to arrows. I turn blood back off and... they are still impervious. Kind of wish this was purely cosmetic and not tied to difficulty.
Phantron 5. okt. 2018 kl. 19:21
Do they include sounds?
Goffee 30. juni 2018 kl. 19:05
Hell why not lol
zartek 27. feb. 2018 kl. 1:39
Yes the robot version is also here???!! Love it :D
crazycupmuffin 30. dec. 2017 kl. 15:05
Aah, fair enough. Bit like why they added all the robots in the newer turtles tv series. So they for once, could actually use their weapons lol.
Yeah, blood is bad.
Dipping your penis in a woman in a close up camera shot is fine tho. XD
Duskaria 30. dec. 2017 kl. 14:29
Because you cannot show blood in Germany. It's basically Reverse-America.
Porn? Yep, A-OK
Violence? NOPE
crazycupmuffin 26. dec. 2017 kl. 20:00
Out of curiosity, why did the German version have robots?
~Onii~ 23. dec. 2017 kl. 4:05

Well, except for the violent death animations. There's no way to disable these because they modified the game's coding in a way that our new animation system in the Kex Engine won't support in a simple non-hackish manner.
quasardw  [ophavsmand] 29. okt. 2017 kl. 15:14
You already get that effect actually if you turn on the "No Blood" option under the violence settings.
Phantron 20. okt. 2017 kl. 6:46
any chance the mod gets a full german censor overhaul? like the purple blood which is still used for the friendly animals in the game, could be used for all enemies, and the animations are simplified falling to the floor etc?
Geoman3 10. juli 2017 kl. 16:48
Unfortunately, I don't get this mod to work.
Shipwrecked 10. juli 2017 kl. 12:29
Nice mod man. I almost like the robots better than the non-German Version.
Phantron 30. mar. 2017 kl. 17:10
Does this change the death animations too, meaning the painful deaths are removed?
quasardw  [ophavsmand] 23. jan. 2017 kl. 22:32
Yeah they shouldn't actually play those animations, but there's not currently any way to disable those through scripting (I would need to edit the animations themselves, and the animation editor is not finished yet).

This mod and the original levels complete the nostalgia feeling. Thanks a lot.

The only flaws that I could find were that I have never seen robots and others struggling before dying in German version. I also remember that the corpses vanish after few seconds.
quasardw  [ophavsmand] 23. jan. 2017 kl. 10:54
Yes, just load both of them together. In fact the thumbnails for the original levels mod were taken with the robots loaded because I got lazy :steammocking:
Donut 23. jan. 2017 kl. 5:49
I hope this works with the original Levels mod.
The.Little.Helen.That.Could 6. jan. 2017 kl. 21:19

headholo 31. dec. 2016 kl. 16:38
wow ! This particular workshop is gonna be a lot of fun ,thanks !
Sire 31. dec. 2016 kl. 15:39
Since you're essentially "archiving" the different versions of the game and making all of them available to us, will we ever see an "official" release of the PC versions original soundtrack? The sound quality (and musical arrangements) are better in the PC version and the current mod that's available for the PC version of the music was just ripped from the soundtrack CD which has some of the ambient sounds baked into the music for the first/second level which is a little strange. Either way, I love this, great job!
quasardw  [ophavsmand] 31. dec. 2016 kl. 14:55
Nope it was a pretty big job actually, reverse engineering the differences in the format and putting support into our in-house tools for it. But it was worth it to see them in action :steamhappy:
KillerPL30 31. dec. 2016 kl. 12:29
I didnt expect anyone to port these. Did you use lemmys 3D extractor and a rice plugin?
Either way, f&cking nice job man. Definite thumbs up!
KingfossilFER 31. dec. 2016 kl. 12:02
I knew the german version had robots, but I always tought its was just the ones used on the final stage, not this ones ive never seen. Interesting
