could you make a jedi/sith version of this
SchwhatNow the DreamCrusher 30. juni 2017 kl. 22:36
Yep, turning off Playable Aliens fixed the issue. Didn't think that would be an issue since you made a compatible mod for Playable Aliens and Allies unknown.

Might want to look into the possibility of custom menus for twi'leks if you get the time, or at least posting that this is incompatible with Playable aliens. :)

I'll try turning off playable aliens and test if that fixes anything. I'll let you know the result.

hmmmm... actually makes me wonder then, why did Twi'leks have to be done diff than, say, Asari or Rogue ADVENT?
RealityMachina  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2017 kl. 14:18
The reason it doesn't do it for the others is because the others use their own custom menus, but the Twi'leks use the standard vanilla menus, which Playable Aliens overrides instead of adding it to the character template of their alien soldiers.
Arkhangel 30. juni 2017 kl. 13:37
not necessarily sure that's it, given i had playable aliens removed at one point and it was still doing it. also kinda weird it's specifically just doing it to Twi'leks, given Asari, Quarians, Turians, Salarians and.. well.. frankly everyone else seem to be fine.
RealityMachina  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2017 kl. 7:13
That line is from Playable Aliens. Chances are that's what is interfering since this mod does not have any sort of restriction for twi'leks.

Yeah I'm having the same issue with being unable to customise hair, skin color, and all that specifically only for Twi'lek soldiers.

If I put the Twi'lek hair and alien heads on normal soldiers everything works great, but when I have a Twi'lek soldier all of those options become greyed out and when you hover over them a message pops up "This option cannot be customized for alien soldiers."

I even went through and disabled all non-essential mods for the twi'leks with allies unknown and nothing changed. So I believe it's something with this version, but I'm not sure I can be much more help than that.

the Safer Cosmetics one. other than that, Zilch. all i know is trying to make one in the CP, i can't touch either of those, which makes my currently customized Twi'lek troopers that're human-statted staying that way until it's figured out. i tried unsub and resubbing that mod, i'll let you know if ti fixed it. you should also unlock the face on the Quarian mod. Tali's face wasn't exactly african, even without her helmet off, and that's the only one that seems to show up for female Quarians.

going back to the first, I've got plenty of mods for customization, yes, but i don't have any that specifically force any outfits or appearances. hell, half the fun for me is every trooper ending up with a unique appearance. i probably spend more time customizing them for tactical missions than i actually do ON tactical missions XD
Arkhangel 2. mar. 2017 kl. 20:43
nope. other than your armor customization fix. it's like the same thing that happened with Asari when they first came out with your mod.
RealityMachina  [ophavsmand] 2. mar. 2017 kl. 18:06
@Arkhangel

To just check on this, you have no mods that alter customization options for all soldiers? Twi'leks use the default soldier options, they should have skin colors and eye colors available right off the bat.
Arkhangel 28. feb. 2017 kl. 5:02
i mean, makes sense to leave the lekku locked, since you'd end up with hair otherwise, but eyes and skin color should be customizable in the CP and Armory, and they currently aren't.
Arkhangel 27. feb. 2017 kl. 15:02
did the latest update fix customization too? haven't been able to change eyes or skin color.
Arkhangel 4. feb. 2017 kl. 15:44
need to fix this mod so you can change skin colors and eye colors. (would be nice if there was some way to lock the hairstyles to just the Lekku choices, but that's not really as important. basically the same prob the Asari mod used to have early on.)
Victoria on Fire 23. jan. 2017 kl. 12:33
I've had this mod installed for some time and I never see twileks in the recruit non-humans section. I only see turians, asari, and playable aliens. Is there a way to make sure the mod is working correctly?

EA isn't really as crazy as some claim, either Arkhangel. So likely they just wouldn't care either haha.
Arkhangel 12. jan. 2017 kl. 14:09
also, according to copyright laws, EA couldn't take action anyways unless you're making money off it.

Mean, if, say, one of the hairstyles Destroyer makes is copywritten (not likely, but entirely possible) he could get sued, because he's getting money for making them via Patreon.
Arkhangel 12. jan. 2017 kl. 14:06
@Xeno: same reason you wait for DLC as well ;)
Gray Fox 11. jan. 2017 kl. 15:47
thanks for the reply! What a crazy issue. And yeah with a mod coming from those guys, I can see how it'd be advantageous to wait until a mod that sees near universal adoption comes out.
RealityMachina  [ophavsmand] 11. jan. 2017 kl. 12:56
I have actually worked with the maker of one of the Predator mods in an attempt to make what you've asked, it's just that for whatever reason, it caused computers to *completely* hard lock, for no apparent reason.

Perhaps I'll take a second try at it, but probably after Long War 2 comes out and I know what I have to fix in terms of compatibility with it.
Gray Fox 11. jan. 2017 kl. 12:33
Hey, Imma add you to talk about how to create a mod like this, just so you know I'm not a random add.
Gray Fox 11. jan. 2017 kl. 12:27
Can you consider using the various predator mods here for an Allies Unknown Predator Pack? the racial ability could be the self destruct among other on kill passives.
vomder 10. jan. 2017 kl. 2:12
When selecting this class while creating a character some of the customization becomes locked.
Arkhangel 31. dec. 2016 kl. 19:07
all else fails for the Vip/Dark VIP, you can just nab the other mod that just adds the customization options and make one. I have an Asari and Zabrak Scientist that way.

also, I think a few customization options are locked, as i couldn't access Hair to change their lekku around. having shoulder options open on the Turian AU mod would be nice too, as some of stench's modular armor shoulderpads sync up real nice with turian armor.

These just get better and better!
