these voices all suck. classic HECU is like 10 times better

there is a bug with file : \sound\vo\c1a3a\mar01_dumbassscis01.wav (you named it mar01_dumbassscientist01.wav)

OH! BADASS HECU FROM MOD RETURNED! When I was 13 year old these guys looks cool. Brutal voices with radio chatter and high accuracy skill.

Is it possible to mix the voice lines from mod version altogether with the retail version? May be even better if it could be compatible with the radio filter mod, just saying.

Healthy young man goes to redownload game, starts it up and finds they're removed the truly terrible vo - GONE. This add it back in and makes HECU great again. Great mod! Would subscribe again!

I have wanted this since I first played the steam version of black mesa. The voice of these soldiers on the old version are way more cool.

But I tried the snd_restart thing and I cant hear the voice of them, maybe not working after the last engine update.

Does this replace the stupid, not funny conversation about Latin in Questionable Ethics with the conversation from the mod where the two marines imply that they are going to sexually assult any female scientists they find? I always thought that that was much better diologue than the whole Latin thing, it was so much more memorable and gives better background info on the type of people the marines are. Hearing the marines howl before being interupted by the security guard is also a lot funnier than the entire Latin conversation.

If it does then I'm totally downloading it.

Erm. Bud. He can't replace or "fix" them because the lines aren't in the mod version. He cannot "fix" that because, since it doesn't occur in the mod, and there is no sound files for it in the mod, he can't replace it.

It's not the radio filter, it's the fact that I just prefer how this sounds. I still prefer this to that mod.
