I would add a solar stove with no fuel requirement but must be out doors. Add a cooked spice as a food ingredient. The spice was fremen food; that's why spice harvesting up set them. Add a water cistern requires a hopper. A water extractor attaches to the cremation machine. Add a sand trout trap made from cloth and stone and baited with 1 water. Sand trout are meat when butchered. A sand worm could be added like the mechanoid grub. I'll see what art I can make.

Well, it's not "Dune", but I did enjoy it quite a lot even though it's geared more toward teenage SF fans than are Frank's works. Of course, that's just my opinion; yours might differ :SmileyYellowFace:
I also highly recommend Frank's "Swords" series!

Just saying, wierding modules are from David Lynch's Dune, not Frank Herbert's, and goes against the very core aspect of the story that ranged weapons are nearly obsolete due to Holtzman shields.

Love this mod, regarding the stillsuits they don't only protect against heat but they also recycled waste and sweat which could be drinked from a tube. So it would be cool if the stillsuits also suppressed hunger rate too a minor degree.

There is a cathloid that comes out of a hole in the one HP mod it is like 8 times the size of a colonist and would be a great starting place to get an idea of size. I understand that to truly represent the sand worms you would have to play on the lagest map size. have you considered making sand worms a world event now that 17 has a world you can interact with more.

@Prostero, I have the same. @oranjj could please confirm if this is normal? Was it intended? All my colonist went addict to spice after one doze, but now they're on "spice needed (unmet)" condition which lowers they functions. Taking another dozes does not help.

Good idea, but the worms would have to be comparatively tiny. According to the books, the average adult sandworm had a mouth diameter of over thirty meters, and a length of over two-hundred-fifty meters. That's quite a lot of damage.

Its doesnt have to actually burrow. He can find some cheap inventive way to sim it like make it go invisable ike the star vampire from HP creature mod, and when its 'burrowing' invisable it can negate and pass thru certain things. Anything it shares a space with when becoming visable again would take damage. Or something like tha anyway and you have burrowing without burrowing!

guys you got to understand that since not even the developers have scripted an underground "burrowing" creature, it will be hard for a mod maker to do it
if you like burrowing worms so much, play Terraria and go mining deep

Mhm, can anybody confirm:
I forced Melange upon one pawn, who now gets withdrawal symptoms. So much was expected. But the pawn does not loose the withdrawal "Spice need" after taking a second/third/forth dose. I wanted to see boosted consciousness, but It seem to not work.
