No problem at all. I was gonna check anyway since I saw that update go live and figured *something* would break. Glad it's all working though!

Flojoewiggi. Hey, I just tested it and it seems to work? Maybe try unsubscribing and resubscribing. I launched it from the editor and not from something like the Light Burden mod manager or anything like that.

I also only had this mod installed so maybe something else is conflcting?

That would be nice! Thanks!

Flojoewiggi, I was afraid of that. I'll have to look into it but not promising anything. Haven't touched this stuff in literal years, lol. Hopefully there's an easy fix.

I just lunched the game, didn't use workshop or any other mod. I'll let you know how unsubscribing and resubscribing works out.

YAR Oracool. No console commands needed, it should just work. Just tested it over here and it's functioning fine. Are you launching the game from the level editor with the mod selected in the workshop tab?

If that's not working try completely closing down Turok and/or the level editor, then unsubscribing from the mod, then re-subscribe. After that try launching the game from the level editor with the mod selected in the workshop tab.

Alternatively, you can add this to the game's launch options in steam instead of having to launch the editor every time. (Right click game in library, select properties, launch options are on the main tab)

-workshop 826637260 -uselocalmods

This doesn't seem to do anything. Do I need to type something in the console?

Good job! The only mod that you really need.

This is a heresy - Turok required a "3D accelerator" when it came out.

can you post a side by side screenshot or before and after? I haven't installed the game yet and would like to see how this looks.

Such a sweet mod! Makes the game look super sharp and actually more detailed.

@Iazu Can you make the file available for everyone? See my comment below.

I own the game on GOG. Can you upload to a filehost? I recommend PC Gaming Wiki (requires account, all files a verified by moderators): http://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/

Rei dos Vermes - Ok, I took a look and it seemed to be organized the same so I went ahead and repeated the process I used for the first game and it seems to have worked, check it out....

Rei dos Vermes - That all depends on if it's set up the same as Turok 1. This mod was literally opening an ini file and find/replacing a value on all the texture descriptions. If Turok 2 is the same it should be easy.

I'll most likely pick up Turok 2 tonight and have a look.
Rei dos Vermes 16. mar. 2017 kl. 19:46
Can you make this mod for Turok 2?

Retardo. You subscribe to the mod. Then you right click on the game in your library and launch the level editor. In the level editor there's a tab at the top called "workshop items". Go there and you should see any mods you subscribed to there. Select the mod(s) then click the button above the list that looks like a play button. If you hover your mouse over it it should say "launch game with selected mods". It should run the game with the selected mods activated.

So... how exactly is one supposed to activate this?
