i like the horizontally set up but thats just me(and the missing or proper ladders in SE ;D)

but even then, your design with the vertical decks is less common and therefor more unique, so that is also a good thing

nicely done, i like it, although i'm not the biggest fan of that interior design used in the show/in your design here but that is just a personal thing, still looks great though!
