Very cool mission! I really liked the 'depressing' setting, as in the slightly darker vegetation around the map and rainy setting, I very much liked the custom sprites too!

Broken. When cbeating first area and go up through the room you get respawned out of the map and unable to finish the game.

This level is fucking gorgeous. I'd love to see a full campaign if you plan on making one, level was the right difficulty, and everything looked great. 11/10

The cutscenes were pretty straightforward to make if slightly time consuming. I used the walk to, attack, and change sprite commands. Make sure to use NPCs with attack animations, the friendly soldiers featured here for example are reskins of Ash and Pardo.

I love what you did here. It was fun just as it was engaging to play what with the cutscenes. It was towards the end that was a bit of a hurt as the soldiers shooting into the room was kind of pace killing when I die and have to see it every time by waiting a few seconds. Thats not a lot but to me it hurt the pacing just a little bit.

Other than that, loved it.

damn man this is really a good level have to ask was it hard to make the animated cutscenes and small animations of the other npc soldiers ( the one you rescue I mean not the enemy)

I appreciate the feedback, everyone! While I don't plan on creating a campaign, I do have another soldier level in early production. It will probably be the last war themed level I make for a while, although I have some other things planned for after its release. As for the mods, I don't plan on making the props available until the next soldier level is released, but a link to the player and enemy mods has been added to the collection page.

Possibly the best Soldier level ever (IMHO even better than the core game), and quite possibly one of the best custom levels made to this day. Great understanding of what makes this game fun, excellent work with the cutscenes, fun, challenging and really great looking. It'd be an atrocity not to play this one. I'm going to subscribe the hell out of you.

As usual, outstanding work man. Great level design and enemy placement for the Soldier playstyle. I personally only like seeing the green walls for storage sections/outdoor areas, I saw you had them for the office space in the 3rd section I believe, white walls would probably look better there. The cutscene where you meet up with the squad in that room can be skipped as well (only option really is to red barrier the next area and do a Walk To for your player with the squad, idkk) Sorry for the paragraph. This level itself felt like part of a campaign, keep up your amazing work dude.
