I lost all of my files yet i was able to update all of my maps via steam workshop downloader website + firefox
release of new upload tool deleted all my thumbnails
the death of my old pc murdered my map files

please update ya maps some day as others do like to play em:)
maybe ill bump this thread a year from now=haha lol

This map is really cool but the lights seem to be broken. It's very very dark.

i make this map only on 93% but i love it ,the lights ,power going out . <3

aside from a bunch of blood at the bottom of the pit had to cheat to clean, it was a very enjoyable map. well done. also, a missed opportunity to use that die picture as a custom eotm reward. i would have loved to have that in my office.

i am slightly disappointed, as when filling out paperwork post-mission, "Death By Space Anus" is not an accepted response.

After finishing this map with a friend, i have to say this was amazing! The lights, the room opening after some time, power going out, I loved it all. The sound that played on the door before it opened, and the pit was also enjoyable. Jukebox was very "interesting". The only complaint i have is there are alot of holes in the walls of the map. Some walls dont touch, and can get stuff thrown inside of them and outside of the map. Besides the holes in the wall, this map was outstanding! Really enjoyed me and friend were always amazing and laughing whole time.

did you by any chance saved and loaded. I think loading resets the timers if I'm not mistaken.

Yep! One note hints the power surge that opens those doors in blood wall room.
I think that happens in about hour or less.

I don't get it. Am I suppose to clear the area behind the doors?!

After a hour of gameplay, I strongly recomend it. It' great! ;)

Maybe you find more details there.

So in order to play it you have to subscribe - start the game, prompt on the right bottom corner
will tell you to restart the game, and after the restart it should be on the bottom of the list ; )

I will ask around about your issue. Another thing that I would try on your place is to
delete map with all associated files and try again subscribing.
Delete:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Viscera\UDKGame\Content\Mods\enex_aegisIV

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Viscera\UDKGame\Config\enex_aegisIV.ini

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Viscera\UDKGame\Localization\INT\enex_lighthouse.int

Nothing that I can decipher. Something about UDK.exe and KERNELBASE.DLL.

This may make me look bad but how do I play on this map. I went into the map selection and it isnt there

Double check that PreviewImageMarkup="" is deleted.

I'm having a similar problem as the guy before, in which the game crashes when I try to run this map in particular. I tried the fix you mentioned, but the game still crashes. Do you have any other potential solutions?

I do however need to decrease timer on doors to lounge room and add some more blood plus
correct chairs from wooden to office chairs.

Took me 2h to clean, got 107% performance points. Like the idea with limited bin boxes, could even have just one, and rotate it over the hole to empty it. Would be nice touch like a companion cube in Portal, to have companion bin xD <3

Personally I don't like using assets from DLCs because not everyone have dlc this days.
And grinder is part of horror dlc.

Well, why don't you jump in and see what happens.

Seem like your issue is indeed crash to relating to image preview size.
There is an image in main menu where you select the map that causes
crash due to size being anything but 512x512.

Current image is 1024 if I recall corectly.

To some people this causes crash.I was dabbing with 512 size preview
but it simply looks so pixaleted and ugly that I opted for 1024. Seem
like that did not really alleviate the issue.

Sorry about the vagueness. The game only crashes when I try to load your map. I went into my files like you said, but I didn't see yours there. All the other maps I downloaded from the workshop are there though. No error code and I am running windows 10.

I'm curious. I don't recall any thumbs made of steel. Where can I learn more about that?

Wonderful map, I just love the Dead space series! Also I wanted to forge you a Thumbs up made of Steel but saw you didn't want want people to forge their Thumbs. XD
