Yeah, but looting all the ruins and not getting enough books for all research is like playing an open world game and 100% being unattainable :/

I'm afraid it might be broken. It was made for older versions of the game, when books were scarse, because of only half the map was unlocked. I didn't update it lately, simply because with more territory to explore you can get those books from ruins now.

Does this mod add an artifact shop? As in, does Iyo's Inventory get refreshed/respawned/restocked in regular intervals?

@I.C.E. Sorry dude i cant seem to get it to work. Iyo's altered dialog doesnt seem to show up normally in the editor and trying to edit your mod only seems to make things worse. Like not being able to talk to either one.

Just edit mod manually. Find Ioy dialogue in editor, open it. There'll be a line about artifacts. Select it and remove all the requirements.

@I.C.E. We found the culprit. Just after talking to Finch (including getting trough the entire mod dialogue about still being alive, the "surprise" and allowed to talk to Iyo
I'm not getting the "Faction_Rank increase". Is there any way to do this manually or maybe another way would be to check if the rank is (i'm not sure how the code is in the game but something like this) if(Faction_Rank['Machinists'] == <0){ "something something being allowed to open shop"; }

It was made in current dev version and is working just right for me and some other people.
I'm 99 sure it will work in any other previous version, since it doesn't require any other content rather then university itself.

It might be a glitch, dialogue use faction rank system... wait... you said Finch's dialogue "I'm back, Finch" is repeating? If it is it's a game glitch.
Once he says "Talk to Iyo" you're getting Faction_Rank increase and current Finch dialogue require Faction_Rank to be exactly "1"

(Un)fortunately, importing game imports Ranks as well, and export/import keeps the dialogue state of this mod.

@I.C.E. After disabling all mods except yours and repeating the very same steps you said Iyo still has no new dialogue. Is this mod made for any version of kenshi? for example 0.97+?

@I.C.E. Yeah pretty much done all of that. i'll make a backup and see if there is some incompatability in mods.

Only problem I can think about could be some other incompatible mod.


Just to make sure:
- You talked to Finch and described your tech lever (you have to have at least lvl 3 bench built)
- He said where you can find books and asked to return to him with one.
- You returned to him and showed a book.
- He allowed you to talk to Iyo about excess books.
-- At this point you should see a new line in Iyo dialogue.

Hi, I cant seem to open the shop. Imported the game as well. I can talk to Finch over and over again and get the same dialogue but when i talk to Iyo i cant find the option to open the shop.

ICE I like this, and the dialogue fits so well. Could you add a 'has met characher' condition for the 'im back line' for the finch bit?
