Still a great puzzle.

I'm not sure why I said there was a trapping situation. I remember this puzzle and I remember this room, but I can't remember why I would have thought that there's a trapping situation when I look at the map now. You can get stuck under the angled panel, at least, but I don't think I would have called that a "logical" trap.

Still a good base puzzle that could be elaborated on in a myriad of ways.

That's it, I'm off XD

I now KNOW I’m becoming obsessed with this map!! Spoiler walkthrough video of, yet another, alternative bit: part of intended method ? :D

I think I’m becoming obsessed with this map!! Spoiler walkthrough video of, yet another and possibly THE(?) intended, method: intended method ? @KodenejmBerni last published a map 5 years ago, so - assuming they are no longer mapping(?) - perhaps I’ll never know the intended solution, but who cares, it’s a great map and concept :)

As promised; spoiler walkthrough video: intended method ? I especially like how the flip panel is used to create a blind portal; but I’m not sure if that is intended as there is an alternative method to get the cube and to get ‘up there’ in the first place; spoiler video of alternative methods: alternative methods ! I can’t see the trap that @Red Silencer’s referring to, but that probably means I’m just being thick :D

Brilliant logic puzzle; thumbs up and added to favourites. If I can do it again, I'll record a walkthrough :D

It's possible to get trapped in the room with the angled panel and laserfield. It's a logical trap, meaning it can be prevented if you just considered things a bit carefully. If for example the laserfield was a fizzler, there would be an exit, but then you'd have to change how the 2nd cube is spawned.

Just getting back into Portal 2 and this was a good start.

The other problem is antlines. I know this map was last modified in 2012, but I created a guide:

A good switch portals to activate lasers a different way and sacrifice cube puzzle. There are a couple of things to look out for. There is a premature method of opening the door that involves pushing on it. Another laser relay will fix this problem if you have it not in-line with a portal surface (I would put it behind the pictured laser field).

Good map. Difficulty was just right.

Great puzzle!

This is a really nice test; I figured out where everything needed to be to open the exit, but it took a few minutes to figure out how to get it there. Well done.

Awesome puzzle. Had to leave and come back before it "clicked" for me.

This time it looks like there's no easy way. I finally know the intended solution. Good job!

@fri

Well, yeah. I recorded a video to show it: https://youtu.be/lHQNkKUakJ8

@fri
really you didn't find use for those things?
why there is a angled panel?!
oh man...
fri 15 aug, 2012 @ 9:16
I just put the weighted cube on the edge of the button, placed a portal on a wall behind it, used the laser on the bottom to light the first cone and used the redirection cube to light the other cone. I didn't find any use for the second laser, the angled panel and the third cone...

excellent map for beginners. Could be a level straight out of the campaign! Was complicated but very fun!

One of those maps where the solution seems simple until you try to do it... My favourite kind! Thanks for making!

(Also thanks to elfarmerino for referring to this map on thnkingwithportals.com :)

thank you

Very nice. I just loaded up a bunch of random chambers from the 'Recent' tab and naturally most were terrible, so congratulations on actually making a thoughtful and enjoyable puzzle!
