@Baro- you ever think to do maybe Morthal? It's kind of the Bravil of Skyrim- perhaps autumn wouldn't fit, but just a lot of trees like in Whiterun, like a mix of the everygreen in the area and a few dead swamp trees- or something?

Didn't know Whiterun's outskirts could be so beautiful! Great job.

i am definitely no rival of this mod and it worked fine till i used fast travel to Whiterun, then i got the black loading screen with all the sounds still playing, everything came back to normal after i unscribed, just saying, but it did look good, others may not have the same issue i got.

I am not a "rival" of this mod and I would still not recommend it. If you have yet to try it out be warned: sideaffects are (but are not limited to) increased urge to create low quality memes, increased growth rate of a neck beard, the inability to live a life outside of your parents basement, and EbolAids

Pretty darn great mod. Most of the bad comments are from rivals of this mod. Try it out yourself and you'll love it!

Gorgeous add on. Adds just the right amount of atmosphere into Whiterun. Wonderfully done.

Strange issue you were having, I've not read any of the other modders having this 15min. problem. Maybe you could ask around for the fix. (I'll have to pass on the 'hot pink' leaves though... and I'm a woman) :)

@Storm_at_Sea I've had a couple setbacks with that project because I can't seem to get the creation kit to last 15 minutes without crashing which is rather frustrating. I was hoping Bethesda would polish it up a bit but it seems like I will just have to work on it in small increments for the time being.

I find this mod racially oppressive. All of the trees are brown but I am white. pls fix

@deron.morris I agree, I was definitely a bit overzealous with the trees - especially in the northern district. My goal was to make the whole city seem like it was in the middle of a dense forset instead of on a hill in the grasslands. I may renovate this one day and put out a version with a little more touch ups and a lot less trees :)

Overall I love the mod, but constructive feedback would be there are too many trees. Makes the city seem a bit overgrown. From a defensive standpoint it blocks line of sight, hindering the guards. Still, a beautiful mod. Thank you for all your work.

I just wish the creation kit would stop crashing :'(

@Storm_at_Sea I wasn't sure which I would try out next; my top 2 choices are Riften or Solitude... But I'm a fan of Riften so I'd rather give that city some love instead :)

Would you consider helping Riften out with some foliage? The current mods I've seen for Riften- most of them just add way too much clutter and it looks trashy, vanilla Riften already is cluttery. It shouldn't be too hard autumn in Whiterun was really nice, Riften is autumn already :) Would you let us know if you'll do it? (I don't have the time for modding or I would've fixed it a long time ago!) :) Thanks for reading.

Love this mod. I don't have ESB, but I can imagine how great it would look. Very Middle Earth, like an elvish village long after they left. Always felt vanilla Skyrim was too barren, both in animals and people. This puts that 'emptiness' into perspective. Great job!

@Hrrisn Not sure why that is happening but if this mod is uninstalled then it shouldn't have any affect on the game. Be sure to check the load order of other mods that you might have installed or attempt to load the game with no mods and gradually add them in to find out which mod is causing the issue.
This happened to me once because I unknowingly downloaded a loading screen clock mod and a loading screen interface mod at the same time that caused the game to crash unless one was loaded above the other.

I installed this mod, didnt like it and then uninstalled it and now my game crashed everytime I try to save or do something that requires a loading screen.

@Haydunce Not by me, but there are plenty here on the workshop! To my knowledge, none of them have the same autumn theme that mine does though.

is there anything like this for other cities?

I'm assuming that my contraction of AIDS from the radiation of the explosion is part of it as well?
