Really shouldn't need anything like that. The textures and stuff are packed into the map so no need for other source games to be installed, try disabling all mods and booting up only the map? Otherwise all i can think of is some kind of textures in your game files overriding it.

You should learn blender and give mapping a go, it'll open a world of possibilities for you

mannn i used to map a lot, but i didnt release maps becuse i lost all of my maps during my linux drive corruption. im gonna see that, now. ill make more maps, because. Hammer is a horrible horrible mess.

When trying to make a D-day map for csgo, I had to make these Hedgehogs by scratch, i think I looked at real life blueprints so i made very detailed brushes etc. In the end I ran out of entities, and I couldnt couple the brushes into a single total entity within the engine. grouping didnt change it and i couldnt seem to make models work

Look up hammer engine tutorials, also use something called hammer++, it's a straight upgrade of default vanilla hammer. Good luck, you're gonna need it.

this map is amazing and its so fun but i swear there was pre spawned npcs in here but idk what happened still good map tho!

W map idk why people are saying there are bugs because there are none for me I even had rebels in the boats and the combine smehow got the mgs and fired at them very realistic for npcs
