I think you're referring to Ultraman Max. As far as i remembered Ultraman Max have that monster island episode (pigmon, red king and other monster appears) I don't know how you find that episode scary, i found the episode to be very funny and interesting XD

i watched this as a child when we were moving i found the intire series in abox i watched every episode eight times and i fucking shit my self at the monster island episode and i still have nightmares because of this show... please dont shit on me if i am thinking of a diffrent show...
