@ Thaelin - Firstly I think you are posting on the wrong mod here, this is the safes mod, no fert storage here, secondly I already have a feces storage bin here...

This not only stores but preserves the feces.

Thirdly you keep mentioning S+ this mod was not made by me so I cannot answer questions about it.

Lastly I will take a look at a honey storage tank for you soon.

Three parter here...kind of. First part, related to S+ would it be possible to make the alternate fertilizer bin a feces storage bin or make a feces storage bin? Second may be a stretch here as Im not sure how S+ works as far as inserting items goes, but woudl it be possible to make S+, via priority, insert feces and fertilizer into your bins, say after filling crop plots with fertilizer and compost bins with feces? And lastly, not sure if S+ deals with honey, but would it be possible to add a tank/drum/barrel for honey with the increased decay timer similar to the wyvern milk?

Love the mod :D makes organization a breeze. I was wondering, are all items able to be put in one of these safes? Like Misc gear such as parachutes, spyglasses and such? If there is a spot for everything than I must be missing something.

If there isn't, would it be possible to add a safe that acts as normal storage (accepts anything) so that all the storage matches :D This would be nice for skins, trophy, and misc storage as well :) Keep up the awesome work lovin' this and your big storage bins.

Reduced file size from 69.5 Mb to 20.2 Mb by removing unwanted/unneeded files.

I have made the final remodel and retexture of this mod (again, I did not loke the look of them), I am looking into the ini entries so watch this space.

Adding an .ini entry to adjust the amount of slots for each type of storage would be great.

200 slots seems plenty to me, if you need greater storage why not use StackMeMore ? With a stack of 5000, two-hundred slots turns into ONE MILLiON ITEMS!

then put a configuration option for the user to configure as many slots as he wants!

If I made it 1000 slots I would have all the other players saying it was OP so no sorry slots stay the same.

Final model and texture tweaks complete, I have no plans to improve/enhance/increase or anything to this mod unless asked to do so, regular updates will be made though as the game is updated.

@ Exaelitus Maybe you can let arkservers.io know that the mod has been updated and works fine.

In V3.1a Further tweaks to the snapping have been made, as I have just been teaching myself snapping I did not get it completely right as the safes/bins were trying to snap to ceilings, but I think I have cracked it now, please let me know if you find otherwise. Also had to recook because I forgot to load the level map first time, sorry 'bout that.

I am currently remodeling all the safes and will be updating very soon, the new safes are much prettier and look more than just a block with a dial on it, I do not think it will interfere with any that have already been placed as I am just remodeling and re-texturing, watch out for an update soon.

Thank you for your fast confirmation that everything is working! I agree they probably should do a better job confirming reports they get, but their service is great, and the servers are cheap ( which is my budget!) Thanks! BTW, I find your mods to be essential to my gameplay, great work!

It works okay for me on both SP mode and my servers, so maybe 'arkservers.io' do not have a clue what they are talking about and should check first before stating a mod is broken, some people do not know how to update or install mods correctly so the easiest thing to do is blame the mod, believe me when I say this mod is not broken and gets updated when needed, so far it has not been needed, but I WILL update it for you soon. My advise go to a new server provider.

arkservers.io, an ARK server hosting company, has a message in their mod management ui that they have reports this mod is broken. Is this mod still being maintained? Is it working for people?

Yes I agree BUT we paid for the game not the dev kit (that was free) so they are under no obligation to keep it updated. I suppose they will update it eventually all we can do is wait.

Wow! This is bad! It shows a bad attitude towards all modders and all players. I would open a Customer Service Request, and ask them to do their job as otherwise the gameplay (means: usage ofthe DevKit) is limited. After all, we all paid money to use the game.

I don't know I think they are just concentrating on the paying DLC's and are just ignoring the modding side, which is sad as the game will only suffer because of it. Up until this message no updates to DK has been made in nearly 6 months.

Is any reason known, why WildCard is not updating the DevKit?

You may have noticed a total lack of updates to this, this is because of the total lack of support from WildCard, they have not updated the dev kit since game update 268.3 some 5 months ago, so all the newer additions are not available to us modders, Sorry about this but then blame WC not us!

As a German, I really have to ask, if you can create a "Sausage Bin" to store this new item: "Böklunder Sausages" (7 in a glass). Emptying a glass container with these Böklunder sausages, will kill all hunger and also boost the body for a short time.

Damn, Bolisarius, you really have to eat a Böklunder sausage to understand this request. :-D

Can you create a Great Storage Bin (GSB) withthe following features?
- 10,000 slots
- paintable
- accessible for all tribe members
- attaching to walls, snapping to center position
- super flat (like a picture frame)
- optional filter feature (showing arms only, or armor, or metal, or food, etc.)

On our server, we play "Claim Games". Such GSB would keep the belongings of all tribe members, and would be the ideal target for opponent tribes to claim (that happens when there is no more tribe member around that GSB within a certain range).

Added items included in the game patch 256.3.

Updated to 255.5 patch, also added new saddle to saddle safe

@ Angelina25 - Not really, it would be impractical to create a safe for things like eggs, kibble, berries, meat, etc when there are mods out there for these, in fact there is one of mine out there for just that.

I think I found the error. For me at least. I did nort wait for the mod to fully update before i lunshed the game. The other of your mods I use are all good. awesome mods btw :)

Should not make a difference whether you play in MP or SP mode, the bins should not disappear when updated, I will check this out and see on our server, I have been ill for the the last few days so have not checked, but I will now.

I too have lost the storage bins (and all their contents) from the mod after each of the last two updates. Had to re-learn and recraft the bins. I've haven't been uninstalling the mod just letting it do it's natural thing, but I do play single player only if that makes a difference.

The only thing that would do that is if you started the game without this mod activated on the server then saving the game and after that reinstalling the mod on the server. And no mod auto updates itself,if you use a third party mod updater |I am not taking responsibility for it, third party updaters are renown for failing at some point, it is best to update mods MANUALLY!

Hmmm. the mod should auto update? I lost the bins and had unlearned the engrams, after last update. Restart did not reset the bins, but the engrams was back, had to learn them a new tho.

I restarted game and they came back am playing a non dedicated so that might be the problem

I have never lost any items or bins due to an update. So I also assume it's not the mod itself causing the trouble.
Do you have any other mods running?

You should not lose the storage, all I have done in the past 2 or 3 updates is add a storage bin (Gasoline) and add some missed items from the weapons bin inventory, This does not change the storage bins that already exist in the mod, or indeed does not change the storage bin I added stuff to, I tested this thoroughly in my own server and it works perfectly, I did not lose a thing. I suggest that you are doing something wrong when updating the mod.

If I am wrong and anyone else is losing storage bins because of updates please say so as I am not getting that problem on my server.

I really like this mod but everytime there is a update of it i lose the storage and everything that as in it
