I don't know why they're calling it an AK-47 when it has a lot of features of the AKM, but that's in no way your fault, since you didn't make it yourself.

The AK-47 in MWR is actually a properly modeled AKM

The AK-74 uses a different bullet from the 47, whereas the AKM and 47 share the same bullet, so it'd make more sense for this to replace the AKM
