i downloaded it and I liked it but not that much. The problem is that when I uninstaled the mod it's still there, I don't know if happened to anyone but I don't know what to do so can anyone help me get rib of this permintly. I know spelled things wrong and I don't care
Sukei 6. aug. 2018 kl. 12:46
I just use it for the extra displays because of lack of Hearthfire compatibility, the flickering wall and lack of any extension is bothersome but considering the lack of hearth I'd need to go to the forge most of the time anyways so I just ignore it.

january 2016 got dragonborn and dawnguard, no hearthfire and mod seems bugged. cant enter the new room and flickering walls. would not reccommend unless this mod gets an update

Kundra 27. maj 2015 kl. 21:30
@Cherryjuice will there be any trouble if i install this before actually getting anywhere near the house?
The Neighbourhood Retard 11. jan. 2015 kl. 3:24
i downloaded this mod and there was no difference at all
madivri 5. jan. 2015 kl. 2:29
I actually don't mind the fact that it's not Hearthfire compatible, since I don't care to use this house as a family home. As nice as the house is, Windhelm just isn't the nicest of cities to raise children. So I never bother buying the children's bedroom. Also, I'm not using Hjerim as my primary estate, so the simplicity, and the fact that it's not over-the-top like so many house mods makes this mod ideal for my purposes. The only thing that seems to be missing from this house is a proper hearth, which is strange considering the environment the house is in. For heat sources there is the cooking hearth and firepit in the kitchen (and forge/smelter) but again, no proper hearth in either the livingroom or bedroom. Granted, I'm not really sure where you'd put one.... At any rate, this is a good mod. Endorsed.

Very nice. But causing lag when I pass next to the improvements.
TheBunGod 12. feb. 2014 kl. 14:07
hey man, just wanted to say that if you completed blood on the ice already, (wich should be done before aquiring hjerim) You can talk to the steward of Ulfric and he gives you an potion to clean the house if the murderers mess for 500 gold, so i dont think
mycastlecellar 11. aug. 2013 kl. 20:45
I own Hjerim and many other houses; too bad it has to be in such a depressing city. I never go there unless I have to so even though you did a great job; I would never use this mod. Thank you for your hard work though. Keep it up and maybe you should try some of the other houses in Skyrim.

Please warn people that this mod removes the storage near the entrance to the blacksmith area. Luckily I checked and just quit out of the game... I'll move my stuff before re-enabling the mod.
FurryChild 11. apr. 2013 kl. 20:38
slight problem. the door that leads to the forge is well.. a dam stone wall i don't know why this happened. any ideas?
FurryChild 11. apr. 2013 kl. 20:10
so i walked upstaris to find my maneqins ALIVE WTF. is this a bug or did you make i this way?
cyndia344 20. mar. 2013 kl. 12:39
I think, if you have the time, you could move the mod just a little and have it open in the secret Alchemy/enchanting room where a bookcase is now. As you enter it would be the left side, a simple manipulation that would really help keep the mod active for those of us who upgraded to Hearthfire. I know you might not be able to change the location of that bookcase but if you could use the more noble one on the opposing wall you gain more book storage space. I enjoyed the mod when I could use it... wish I could continue so will check occasionally to see if you might do the switch. I can manipulate it and save it on my computer, but after that this 60 year old gets lost in the upload/download, navmesh jargon and can't seem to find my way around... :)
jjb-54 22. feb. 2013 kl. 14:12
So I'm guessing it is best to install right after you buy Hjerim? I'm going to start the Quest now ...
Ambugaton 20. feb. 2013 kl. 17:28
Well done, worth it just to not have Hjerim feellike a dungeon. It conflicted with hearhfire badly, but that was the deathknell for hearthfire for me. It's buggy as hell on its own, and conflicts with mods that add to the game experience way more than hearthfire does. Hearthfire was beyond disappointing.... IOW, would rather have quality mods like this than hearthfire in any case.
mlukkes 6. feb. 2013 kl. 15:11
So if I have this and got heathfire...All those items were deleted...
BackwoodsOutlaw 1. jan. 2013 kl. 14:22
I am currently building a house in the creation kit, and I am using the Hjerim house. When I look up the interiors to edit the interior, there is no Hjerim interior.
sgt_geoff 21. nov. 2012 kl. 0:02
No, I haven't gotten the Hearthfire DLC. Don't have Dawnguard either.
Aries72 19. nov. 2012 kl. 19:16
I hav'nt loaded yet but want to got to clean house first an theres alot to clean up. but ya that defult dagger box in the bed room has always keep things will that be a fix and i dont have expantions like hearthfire.
Deafwing (Ru)  [ophavsmand] 16. nov. 2012 kl. 10:31
Am I right in thinking you have hearthfire too? It seems to set a lot of things back to their default settings
sgt_geoff 15. nov. 2012 kl. 23:36
Just a heads up - I'm having the same dagger display cases bug as reported a while back. I can add daggers to the cases, but not take them out. Otherwise I like the mod and have had no issues with it.
Deafwing (Ru)  [ophavsmand] 11. nov. 2012 kl. 7:50
Thanks for finding a fix for everyone. I'm guessing you already tried this but I would have done exactly what you did to that first wall the the wall that flickers on the side. Flickering almost always means thats there's actually two of the wall placed exactly on top of each other.
Qahnaarin Tom 11. nov. 2012 kl. 5:53
You can subscribe this mod again and if you enter the console and click on the wall in the wardrobe and use the displayed number for 'markfordelete xxxxxxxx', close the console, then save game and load this savegame again, the wall will be gone and your items still down there were you left them ;-) The only thing what will not go away is the flickering on the left wall before the wardrobe.
Qahnaarin Tom 18. okt. 2012 kl. 10:45
@chapers13 and @FSM: ... yes, if you remove this mod after you noticed incompatiblity with HF you lose all what was on the container down there behind the wardrobe. I'm afraid it has been lost also when enabling HT, but you can check, if you disable HF. Save your game in a new slot, disable HF and restart Skyrim loading your last savegame and see what happens. If it doesn't change anything and your stuff is gone, you can continue with the savegame before. If your stuff is available again, you have lost all progress with HF ....
MoonNinja 18. okt. 2012 kl. 4:38
big thing you missed on the warning the wardrobe you turn into the smithing room should be emptied as this was where i previously stored all alc/enchanting stuff
chappers 13. okt. 2012 kl. 8:20
Hi, im also having a hearthfire conflict. problem for me is the amount of stuff i.e weapons/armour i had down there seem to be lost. Any ideas what happens to the stuff if I unsubscribe to the mod? Do I lose it all?
Qahnaarin Tom 9. okt. 2012 kl. 14:30
@Cherryjuice: ... don't be sad, we just want to know if you are able to work on it to keep your mod as we like it.
Deafwing (Ru)  [ophavsmand] 9. okt. 2012 kl. 11:53
Sorry guys but i don't have hearthfire so can't do anything about it. You'll have to disable it I'm afraid or take a day to learn to use the creation kit :(
Qahnaarin Tom 8. okt. 2012 kl. 9:16
@dilz669: ... yes, you are right, I just recognized same issue, can´t reach this room with all of my stuff again. There is a wall now and I can confirm also the flickering on the left wall.
dilz669 5. okt. 2012 kl. 17:35
Love this mod. However, I seem to be having some sort of conflict between this mod and the new Hearthfire add-on. With Hearthfire enabled the secret opening in the new wardrobe (the one that leads down to the armory) is blocked off with stone wall. Also, the wall to the left of that wardrobe flickers like there is some sort of model or texture overlap. Changing the load order has no effect. Anyone else having this problem?
Go 5. okt. 2012 kl. 6:37
Thanks for the reply, that's helpful.
Deafwing (Ru)  [ophavsmand] 4. okt. 2012 kl. 14:17
Nope, I'm too much of a creation kti newbie to work out that. I would leave it disabled until after the quest is done. Having it enabled wont break the quest, but will ruin the atmosphere since i removed cobwebs/bones (fliers for the quest are still there)
Go 30. sep. 2012 kl. 17:42
Just to be clear: the changes only take effect after the Blood on the Ice quest is over?
mdjacks1 23. sep. 2012 kl. 14:11
fav house mod for my fav house! awesome!
Meursault 19. sep. 2012 kl. 14:44
the house
Meursault 19. sep. 2012 kl. 14:44
how do you buy it
Dr. Un Pleasant 19. sep. 2012 kl. 8:16
just a few suggestions long term, I'd love to see a chest for potions or something in the alchemy/enchanting room, and I would love to see the forge room or armory turn into a bit more of a training room, love the dummy, maybe put in archery targets? Also, did you say you added a wood chopping block outside? i can't seem to find it. Love the mod, only one I keep installed no matter what I do :D
BOT Perilla 19. sep. 2012 kl. 3:53
What happened?
Samael 19. sep. 2012 kl. 0:17
Would It be possible for there to be chimneys for the forge and smelter? I think it looks a bit odd with the billowing smoke from the smelter just going into the ceiling.
Deafwing (Ru)  [ophavsmand] 18. sep. 2012 kl. 16:47
sorry to disappoint you two and anyone else that saw that, steam fraped :(
BOT Perilla 17. sep. 2012 kl. 13:50
Could I build a room with.. ten mannequins for example?
weiloong 16. sep. 2012 kl. 4:03
Will you have to move anything? Like move items from chests and any wardrobes?
weiloong 29. aug. 2012 kl. 6:19
But I checked I lost 2 Daedra Hearts, one cheap Staff, some decent armour, but not the Wabbajack. *Phew
weiloong 29. aug. 2012 kl. 6:18
Oh sorry I suck at reading.
I'll just cheat the items back
If I can
weiloong 28. aug. 2012 kl. 9:56
Sorry I hate this mod, in the chest upstairs beside your bed you changed it so I lost some of my items inc. Daedra Hearts, Wabbajack, soul gems, and some armour
Chase Meridian 18. juli 2012 kl. 0:33
I love this mod! its everything I could have wanted and more. However, my spouse now curls up and sleeps on the floor next to the book cases in my room. Although it is kind of funny, I think i'd rather have them sleep in my bed. Any suggestions on how to go about a fix?
Gamers Rise Up 6. juli 2012 kl. 17:16
looks awesome :) im a Black-Briar hater also ;)
Deafwing (Ru)  [ophavsmand] 6. juli 2012 kl. 14:47
Thanks for the suggestions. I did say in the description to loot the soul gems but I regret adding the bookcases in the first place.
