You can avoid enabling the mod for every game by dragging audio from the mod folder to the game's music folder. And I'm pretty sure you can earn achievements too, but I didn't test it

Just use the custom mode to add mods to the game, or add it from the load menu to an existing game. NOTE: Thiw WILL disable achivements by default, but most mods do as well so I only recommend it on saves that you don't plan to get the achivements on.
