the last level genuinely drove me nuts but otherwise all 3 of these campaigns were 10/10

It wasn't bad, but the dialogue really threw me off, Jacket and the others feel a lot off-character and some parts of the story don't really align with the HM canon. I had some fun in some levels, others where just not good in terms of level design, but the creator put a lot of effort into this (3 whole campaigns, that's crazy), also I don't think most of people really mind everything to be perfect, they just want to have fun and I thank the Creator for that, because I had a lot of fun in the end.

This NEEDS more recognition!!!! :TheRooster:

This is the canon ending for me! Whenever I get past Deathwish on a chronological HLM binge I always go to your trilogy to finish it off. Is it perfect? Not at all. But does it have heart? Absolutely!

Realy good campaign, I like how some people are creating more advanced story than actual developers
thedarklord447 13 jun, 2024 @ 7:18
Its okay. The creator put a ton of effort into this. But I admit, no offense but I really disliked the story and dialogue. Additionally, as far as level design is concerned, it's okay. Nothing stand-out, and a lot of fat guys. It got a little boring gameplay wise. Plus the final level feels... meh. Its an okay level, but definitely not a level designed with Tony in mind.

The ending what we didn‘t deserve

This is one of the best mods I've ever played. A good and interesting campaign with interesting beautiful levels and adequate difficulty. Here the difficulty of the Hotline Miami is exactly what it should be. And no enemies hidden in the bushes, lol
The mod is really worth your time spent on it :IzzyMoonbow:

brother I couldn't tell you how hard I cried at some of the moments in this campaign, an amazing way to rewrite the ending of our beloved jacket and the fans. To me, This is the canon ending.

Brilliant! This trilogy felt like Hotline Miami 3, if it was adapted into a movie by a studio that cares about the source material! Though it had a few flaws, overall it was really really good and it hit all the right spots for me. I'm especially very impressed with Phantasm. That is the peak of the trilogy for me. Could've easily been part of the original. I'm very satisfied with the overall result and I highly appreciate all the love and passion you've put into this project. This is the happy ending I would've wanted. Thank you!

4.5/5, will definitely revisit frequently.

The last floor of the last level.

That was INTENSE.
ValenT2 2 maj, 2022 @ 17:38
This was a really satisfying campaign. Good level design enemy placement, action etc. Though i'm not a big fan of jacket talking, I could get behind that. Only issue I had is the final level. Not being able to choose between any of the characters and finishing of the campaign with only Tony felt kinda underwhelming. Not that I have anything agaisnt him, but I'd much rather be able to choose other character, or better yet, switch between every single one, kinda like Deathwish in the original game.

[RE] Flameoguide 8 jan, 2022 @ 19:50
This campaign is really good. It's a good 'what if' look into what would happen if they right-wing coup wasn't cut short with the nukes. I always imagined the general responsible to be the colonel from the Hawaii missions. I also like the investigation into Jacket's character and his backstory as a veteran and a victim/tool of 50 Blessings.

Level design was also good, lots of fun painting tight corridors with blood and lead. 9/10
limb 12 dec, 2021 @ 18:52
tbh its a pretty good campaign if you ignore the cheesy dialogue by jacket. only thing id change is that we play as jacket for the last bit.
Bonfist 25 sep, 2021 @ 0:21
The three campaigns are all definitely well made and enjoyable, but I personally don't like the massive changes to the characters. Feels like Jacket has become somewhat of a self-insert, he speaks too much and says things that I just could not imagine someone like Jacket ever saying, and Corey has immediately opened up to everyone way more than she really would, in my opinion. Everyone has odd banter among each other that just doesn't seem natural.

Tony is kind of an ass the entire time, almost like we've forgotten that he'd be willing to bring all of the team's bodies together and be the last one to die, still making sure he was with them when he went. He also kind of does a weird jump in this story itself. He goes from badly wanting action to being satisfied whenever they only solved one portion of the real problem. There are still Russians out there, and they are probably still extremely angry at America in this scenario.
TibbnTob 6 sep, 2021 @ 20:26
Kinda cheesy at some parts but i still really liked it good ending for the franchise prefer this over the vague nuclear annihilation ending
