Actually it wont be too bad, it'll be dishwasher safe so it'll clean fine there, and if you're doing it by hand and don't have a sprayer you could use a bottle brush. Also, mug is oversized from a standard 12 oz (354mL) to a 16 oz (473) that'll make more space too.

But, acknowledging the obvious this mug will not be as easy to clean as a basic mug and probably wouldn't be best used for anything other than liquids, so no oatmeal, or soups.
