hey, I'm another fellow DUWS modder, have made a bunch of ww2 and vietnam versions, was just wondering if you have managed to get the friendly AI commander to spawn random tanks at friendly controlled zones, the scripts that handle it are random_veh_blu_patrol and WARCOM_blu_patrol. Have been modding for a while now and can't figure out why it doesn't seem to work.

I'm at about 100 friendly army power yet I haven't seen any friendly task forces yet, is this usual for everyone else?

doesnt seem like my buddy can add ai to his squad. ALL freidnly Ai is added to hosts squad

Thanks. I figure the problem is probably related to the fact I play with 0 friendly army power and max enemy army power then never purchase extra army power.

@The Argus the enemies army power should increase as a factor of time as well as a factor of your armys power. I would try selecting the dynamic weather option to allow time to progress.

Hey mate, I noticed something odd about this version of DUWS. The enemy army power doesn't increase. Any idea why?

All you can do is delete them by assigning them to Yellow team and then delete them from the Squad Manager in the base

when i launch the Mod, i start with 9 people i am in command of, but when i Establish my FOB they are left swimming in the middle of the ocean, why is this?

If anyone wants to work on this you are more than welcome to. However the mod works as intended for me and my friends initially and we figured mine as well release it for others at its current state.

it should be noted from here on out that i only released this as a simple port as nobody has done so. I will not be fully commited to this item as what i have aimed to do has been done. I have much bigger projects that i am working on and dont have time for most of them due to college and etc...

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes I understand as I have played DUWS before on other maps. Basically as you say I am in the water with my squad as the game initialises.. then the menu comes up fine and I select random or manual. I then teleport correctly to the spawn point but all the members of my squad don't... they stay stranded in the water ! Tried reinstalling and restarting a few times.. no luck. Any ideas?

you are supossed to spawn in the ocean while the game initializes but you should be teleported to your base when you select random or manual

Same thing happens to me. Manual start and the units all spawn in the bottom right corner of the map. Seems great otherwise.

@pudG fairly easy however, you can get conflicts if you use too many scripts. its like having a mod conflict. sometimes you can just go into N++ and change a few variables though.

I like the new script that let's you put items in vehicle inventories. How easy is it to add scripts to mission?

@[SUN] Lord JDawg its in the config files of the mission, you could check the base config and set all the infantry classes to infantry classes from apex.

Mission runs fine & I do get the choice. However even with manual start the men remain in the ocean.

@(AEF) NoobBlaster yes that is where your units will be during the initialization phase of the mission. After waiting a few sec. you should get the option to choose manual start or random start on your screen. If you are not getting this option make sure that you are the host of the mission and try to pick the first slot in the character selection.
