Insane job man looks fantastic

Argh, sorry, got my wires crossed; there's *another* Workshop Falcon whose ship got reviewed / toured on YouTube -- THAT's the guy I wanted to ask about 4 ALs. Nevermind... >_< LOL
Siege  [skapare] 15 maj, 2018 @ 12:52
No idea? I needed to put some in.
Argentium-Star 15 maj, 2018 @ 12:44
Oh, but of course! :D

I was, in fact, thinking of all the others who are thinking of trying this project for themselves.

Unashamedly, that includes me .. so, actually, this was partly "research", and "a place to put the links". LOL ;)

Can you explain the 4 Armour Lockers, tho, pls? :>
Siege  [skapare] 15 maj, 2018 @ 12:33
Yeah I'm familiar with those shots. What did you think I was using as reference material? ;)
Argentium-Star 15 maj, 2018 @ 12:12
Never mind.. I did the GEEKIEST thing... It's NOT original. :/ In the pic WITH Han, the rim of lights on the floor = 17. On the re-creation, only 15. Dammit, I'm so disappointed. :(
LOL XD

OK, so out of curiosity, I've gone literally SCOURING the web for as-canon-as-possible images of the Falcon's corridors . . .

(This is a bit STUPID, btw, since we "know" that the lounge area is FORWARD of the cockpit corridor AND the starboard access ramp..!)

I saw someone's video review of an interesting medium-heavy SV yesterday... wish I'd noted it down... THAT build ALSO had 4 Armour Lockers in a row...

I really think I'm missing something (for being away from EGS for awhile, no less)...
Why 4? Is this an optimal number for better overall functionality or sthg like that?? :O

Yeah... MF cockpit can't be easy at all.
Well, give some thought to Minecrafters - MC has 1 "switch". Maybe work as the Hyperdrive activator. Depending on their tile set - which can be customised - they're even more limited, e.g. to what blocks actually "glow" etc. ;)
Siege  [skapare] 14 maj, 2018 @ 21:05
Thanks for the feedback! The new ramp was a big improvement over the previous one I'd installed. Cockpit...yeah I hear you. It's hard to know what to do with it since we don't have textures with electronics, banks of switches, computer readouts, etc. The floor panels are one of the things I'd like to address in an update along with revisting the flight systems.
Argentium-Star 14 maj, 2018 @ 20:36
All-in-all, great "upgrades" from 0g00's source BP.

++ Most esp. like your change of Ramp Entry. (But where's the Port door?)

+ Adding Warp Drive etc (+ other engine upgrades) v appropriate. ;)
- Kinda wished you'd also moved the 6 "vents" further back.. :O

++ Lounge area greatly improved on original BP - excellent work.
- Surprised you didn't invert the walkway panels (2 underfloor bays) so they'd be flush with the floor -- a 1-block-deep hollow, it's do-able..?!

+ Excellent cockpit glass re-build. "Badly needed!"
- Not so keen on cockpit colour-scheme, tho.. :P LOL

Also, 4 Armour Lockers..? I bet I'm "missing a point" - they meant to look like sthg else in the Falcon, maybe? :-/

Kieve "LCD keyboard" - genius.
Good Credit in changelog. (Better in main description tho!)

Any plans for a 2018 "update"? (If not Alpha 8.0, then keeping it 7.1.6?)
Good stuff!! =D
Siege  [skapare] 25 jan, 2017 @ 0:52
And now you've found it. Just don't let the Imperials know it's here. ;)

I've been looking for and it was under my nose.:steamhappy:
Siege  [skapare] 11 dec, 2016 @ 20:56
Thanks everyone!
86™ 11 dec, 2016 @ 20:48
This thing is such a beautiful work of art, bravo! I can't count how many times I've spawned this thing in just to fly it around and walk through its interior.
MadMax1976 19 nov, 2016 @ 0:10
Absoultely gorgeous!
I always loved the falcon and your creation is really amazing!
SilverGEEZA 12 nov, 2016 @ 15:54
Awesome build!
Violent Thermometer 10 nov, 2016 @ 12:43
please make a cv version soon of it
Gorebash 7 nov, 2016 @ 11:52
Siege, If you ever do make a CV version I am absolutely sure you will be sure all star wars fans will love you for it. The detail on the SV version is so, on point. Its the small things you did to it that makes it so f-in great. Keep up the great work can't wait to see more of your stuff. :steamhappy:
afederowicz 7 nov, 2016 @ 9:43
Remember Everyone, you can add H.O.T.A.S. controllers to fly Beauties like this ! I use a Saitek HOTAS, and CH-PRO (Pro Peddles) and over 100 mods... Flawless performance, and Zero C.T.D.'s !!! Not One C.T.D. and I just keep adding more and more great ship like this, and Still, Its Rock Solid... I hope they will make detailed fully working Avionics soon, because really working Panels, and moving controls would so rock this GAME !!!!!!!!!!! Beautull MOD work Here, Thank You for your Intelligent Creative Additions to this Simulation !!!!!!!!
Siege  [skapare] 5 nov, 2016 @ 21:51
I was going to make a CV version and then I got distracted. Defintely going to have to make one at some point.
Gorebash 5 nov, 2016 @ 21:40
This is Fantastic, really love this !!!! Has got to be the best one I have seen yet. I have only one queston Is there any way possiable to make this into a CV or have a warp drive.
Pascal.nolze 30 okt, 2016 @ 3:02
nice buld :steamhappy:
天使竜 23 okt, 2016 @ 8:40
This ship is absolutely amazing! The amount of detail you put into is just ridiculous... in a great way. ;) But unfortunately the ship is partially useless in the games current state, because of gravity. The ship is awesome on planets, near a station in space with a gravity field, but JUST this ship in space and it becomes a freaking PAIN to get around in it. I wish the would add a bloody gravity generator for small ships to make these kind of ship more useable. Until then I can only say hat off to the amazing working you did!
WeeMan 13 okt, 2016 @ 6:28
simply on point
Septaphobia 11 okt, 2016 @ 16:56
That is a fair point in that there are limited resources for SVs. Thank you for acting so quickly! Will test out the new feel soon and provide feedback, I'm sure it will feel much better.
Siege  [skapare] 11 okt, 2016 @ 8:07
Septaphobia...I can add more rcs but what really needs to happen are T2 rcs modules for SVs and maybe T3 thrusters. Some efficiency upgrades in the tech tree to cut down on fuel consumption would be nice too while I'm making a wishlist.

Edit: Added more thrusters, power, and doubled the number of RCS modules.
Septaphobia 11 okt, 2016 @ 1:10
I absolutely love the stuctural and visual design of this ship. Amazing! However...this ship does not fly like the Falcon at all...That was a very disheartening realization. If possible, try to make it significantly more maneuverable and capable of accelerating faster. The Falcon was very nimble and this feels like a flying brick. A pretty brick.
Shay 10 okt, 2016 @ 15:49
This looks amazing!
Suicidal OldGuy 10 okt, 2016 @ 14:34
would be great if you could dock it save warp fuel haha, but is example to size of hanger, was building it round vanilla SV's think it fits 4 or 5 teir 3 SV's in seperate bays sibe by side with 3 block seperation and leaving enough room to easily fly aorund. and other side i think fits up to six 4 a's thats just one level after all it is a carrier .
Siege  [skapare] 10 okt, 2016 @ 10:27
Yo dog. I heard you like CVs so we put a CV in your CV so you can something something.
Suicidal OldGuy 10 okt, 2016 @ 6:15
@siege. lets just say if you take out the second floor of the hanger bay you can lan a tier three starter cv in it and that just the hanger
Suicidal OldGuy 10 okt, 2016 @ 6:13
i began a project @ siege a titan carrier CV whern i first started empyrion, thought may as well start big. it remains unfinshed and blocky lmao if you want a stab at it feel free to it is published so BP is on steam
Siege  [skapare] 10 okt, 2016 @ 5:23
festaddsk...yeah it's impossible to make true rounded tunnels on a diagonal, hence the odd shape of the ones in this Falcon SV. To get the rounded corridors on my Corellian freighter CV I had to abandon the ring shaped layout of the corridors and use a square layout instead so I could use the curved blocks to make the corridors. Makes it a LOT easier to line up textures and colors properly.
Siege  [skapare] 10 okt, 2016 @ 5:14
Well it doesn't have gravity generators since it's an SV. It should work though. If you look in the control panel(press P) and look under the thruster heading are those checked as active?
BeeJ 10 okt, 2016 @ 5:01
ok, i have built it in space it is all powered up but it wont run even the doors wont auto close or the anti grav plays up wont work through most of the ship.
Siege  [skapare] 10 okt, 2016 @ 4:55
Sarlic....noted. Ship seems sluggish taking off from higher grav planets.I'll fix it.
BeeJ 10 okt, 2016 @ 4:43
anyone having troubles with this sv not working it will power up but will not fly?
Suicidal OldGuy 9 okt, 2016 @ 18:09
if they every add a slightly curved edge block so cylinder areas look round,i reckon it complete it,but considering you don't it is amazing craft work
Siege  [skapare] 9 okt, 2016 @ 16:01
einsteinidahosu...not as much as you'd think. I didn't keep track but maybe 20 hours or so.

twitch.tv did all of the work on the exterior(minus the gun emplacement up top) but he never got around to really finishing it. I couldn't leave such beautiful work unfinished so I cleaned it up and in the process made extensive modifications to the interior.
einsteinidahosu 9 okt, 2016 @ 13:44
Holy! I'm even more motivated to play this game! How many hours did it take to build?
Solaire of Astora 9 okt, 2016 @ 9:54
There already was a Falcon on workshop, but some finishing touches were a bit off... this one however, pure beauty of perfection!
Suicidal OldGuy 9 okt, 2016 @ 7:30
that is an awsome replica dude.. amazing!:steamhappy:
Siege  [skapare] 9 okt, 2016 @ 4:28
Ya it's an SV. CV version will follow, eventually. If you really want to get your CV fix there's always my XS model Corellian freighter. It's not the Falcon but it's from the same lineage. That should tide you over until I have the time to do a proper CV version of the Falcon.

You are hereby "Subscribed"
Dadsky 8 okt, 2016 @ 15:10
Very nice! best millenium falcon yet! Great attention to detail.
Warchild8 8 okt, 2016 @ 13:04
sv,s should be able to warp?
Sun Cultist 8 okt, 2016 @ 11:16
Oh. Wait. This is an SV, isn't it? Holy buckets. I was under the impression this was a CV, whoops.
Sun Cultist 8 okt, 2016 @ 11:14
This is definitely one of the best builds I've seen. The only thing that it feels like it needs is gravity, which I feel as though a gravity generator wouldn't really work well in the aesthetics of it as it is. So there is an impasse. It's worth the 0g when looking at the authenticity of this build. Stellar job, OP.
rarestnebula 8 okt, 2016 @ 8:47
Definitely the best of all the Millenium Falcons so far. Handles very well. Great proportions and detail. The cockpit looks like the movie!!!
