(also I haven't made it hard on Purpose, but I'm not particularly good at the game, so... unclear!)

I want you to know that I am being 100% genuine and almost tearing up when I say this is the greatest review I have ever received, possibly for anything I have ever done. I kinda want to frame it and hang it on my wall.

The flavor of skills feels like a fleshy realization of how a germanic Fae might function. Through pull of different natural and unnatural sources, they wax and wane in a purposeful manner. Every wavelength of their being is tweaked on a whim into intangible noise or piercing light.

I got a little stoned to tell you my feelings (as I am quite taciturn in normal life). The experience of playing this character has played a solid role in my own artistic pursuits. It's opened my eyes to some brilliant vistas of where to take sketch, verse, or paragraph.

I appreciate you. Great work. I swear I'll play the other classes at least once.

The oddities of this character turn what feels like a 2d game into a 3d one. The stances really seem to switch up how the character manipulates their resources -- Flavorfully it feels like altering their own *density* to affect things around them.

Their movement abilities really sell up the idea of planning how you shift through you stance phases. You have many options for trying to tank through a hit, press the attack, strike and retreat, or recover resources. Because if you have contingencies (including Contingency, hilariously) there's a way to *make it work*.

It feels like an animated show of some kind. Where the character's determination to destroy or circumvent ANY obstacle is their greatest tool.

Hey look I have basically played 95% of my games as primal chosen. Thank you so much for this weird take on the game. For whatever reason it really got my interest. It's difficult for me to get very far but I've taken that challenge in stride.

I make it to about second tier of dungeons usually and then get wasted. Either I'm not quite clicking with it, or you're making this class difficult on purpose. Or both. Likely the first.

BUT THAT SAID I CANNOT GET ENOUGH of how cool Primal Chosen is.

Yes, to both questions! =D

Do these classes add to the NPC talent pools when the addon is active?
Kazeck 5. juni 2020 kl. 22:08
Lixie, the primal chosen, they're Exalted aren't they?
They even have Avoidance Kata (like a Sidereal) If this is an Exalted reference I am 100% impressed/glad to see it.

I don't remember why Primal Chosen didn't get combat training unlocked. It might just be that I don't like it and am sick of it being on everything, honestly. You can just unlock it with 50 gold, though. ;P
As for Empyreal... I didn't actually make that myself, just enabled it, so there's only so much I can say. (shrugs helplessly)

Generally, all classes feel interesting, each in its own way. I have a pair of things I don't quite understand, though: 1) Primal Chosen gets a common tree of Combat TRaining as locked. What is the reasoning behind this? Is it to force Cornac race? ;) 2) Empyreal feels like it has nothing to do for most turns. His abilities are interesting - but this is strange. I tried to learn Staff tree - but this would work only for the main campaign anyways...
LixieLorn  [ophavsmand] 28. aug. 2017 kl. 8:59
That's odd as I didnt change anything! xD Glad you ca play, though. :)
Saisher 27. aug. 2017 kl. 21:00
It works now, thank you. Now I just need to find out what class I want to play a diseased flash light as.
LixieLorn  [ophavsmand] 11. juni 2017 kl. 10:36
Then you're gonna have to wait for me to come back to coding and upload a fix for this, unless someone can come up with a bandaid solution. :(
If you unzipped the race pack and changed the weight field inside init.lua to 102, that would fix it, but it might make the addon stop validating, if that matters to you.
Saisher 11. juni 2017 kl. 9:43
I have both Skeletons and Ghouls un-locked, all types of defilers, and all options with the inferno tage are enabled.
LixieLorn  [ophavsmand] 10. juni 2017 kl. 0:37
ahh, I see the issue. They have the same weight, so if it loads the race pack first, it doesnt see that oddities is there. I'm not sure when I'll be able to upload a fix for this. In the meantime... there's probably a way to force them to load the other way around...

I can't find what it is, though. Stupid question: Do you have both undead and corruptors (the class, not the metaclass) unlocked? Do you have vampires (the metarace) turned on in game options?
Saisher 9. juni 2017 kl. 12:13
I have both your race pack and elestial oddities but I don't seem to have access to the plague touched, i'm not sure if this an issue with my adon load out, or a check with 1.5 but I thought I should tell you in case something went wrong.
LixieLorn  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2017 kl. 20:35
I honestly don't know! I dont THINK so, but I wont know until people try using it in 1.5
Rough 15. mar. 2017 kl. 16:58
will this need to be updated for 1.5?

A misdescription with the crescent strike (or whatever the name of the beam with no cost was); it says the beam does darkness damage, but on the log it says cold damage.
LixieLorn  [ophavsmand] 12. nov. 2016 kl. 17:10
I'm afraid I don't even know who the frog person is! xD
FrozenMoonsoul 12. nov. 2016 kl. 14:50
I love the way you made the references though. They're not too in-your-face for people who aren't familiar with the material and they bring a big smile to the faces of people who are.
My favorite character from that series is partially "to blame" for her powers. The frog one, y'see. :P
LixieLorn  [ophavsmand] 12. nov. 2016 kl. 13:39
Hehehe. She is my favorite character from that series. I have not played that series. A couple of the skills are specifically made as references to her. On the forum, someone even made a custom sprite for her.
FrozenMoonsoul 10. nov. 2016 kl. 11:45
The Radiant class' skills remind me quite very strongly of a character from a certain bullet hell series... Do you know anything about that, perhaps? Just asking out of curiosity.
Kamani 17. sep. 2016 kl. 17:29
Okay, thank you!
LixieLorn  [ophavsmand] 17. sep. 2016 kl. 16:14
hope you enjoy! There's a thread for it on the te4.org forums which gives more in-depth information.
Kamani 17. sep. 2016 kl. 14:04
Ahh. Okay, neat!
LixieLorn  [ophavsmand] 16. sep. 2016 kl. 23:03
not easily, as there's more words in it than steam allows in a description. The Firmamancer is a weather mage, with selling points including meteor summoning, Indignation, a new chants-alike tree, and a lot of rain. The primal chosen is a celestial brawler who learns chronomancy and is a werewolf. The Trench Strider is a highly mobile ocean themed negative energy melee character. The Empyreal is a celestial caster that is featured on NPCs in Embers of Rage, this addon refurbishes them slightly for PC use. Also included is a new class made just for this addon, the Radiant, who corrupts their light with inner sickness to plague their foes with tainted sunlight.
Kamani 16. sep. 2016 kl. 20:14
Could you tell us what these are directly?
