so i only noticed that this mod wasn't compatible with WOTC after creating a new game. I removed the mod, and that game is laggy and buggy as hell, also giving me a warning about not having this mod installed.

and yet on the same computer, i'm runing a different campaign that never had this mod installed, and it's smooth as butter.

could the lack of this mod be causing trouble for the game that started out with it installed? Maybe it's so busy checking for it that it keeps lagging or something?

There's "MEC English Voice Pack", which is smaller, but just has the English voice files.

You can't. Look for "MEC Voice Pack", although you need to edit its XComContent.ini file to enable those voices for SPARKs.

Ah, just found this out myself. Thanks for the mod though, it was a staple of mine in a number of base game campaigns.

Seems when they updated to game to WotC they removed alot of left over files that this mod depended on.. there is no way of fixing this without having to bloat the mod to 700+mb .. sorry guys

Same situation for me as well. If I had to make a wild guess, the MEC voicepacks that were in the base version of XCOM were not carried over into WOTC, so this mod would effectively be incompatible with WOTC no matter what. Could be wrong, but that's what I'm thinking currently.

Try clicking a second time, always have that myself: the first click doesn't do anything.

I'm not sure this works for WotC. I'll have to test further but whenever I click the preview in the customization screen, nothing plays.

@Your Mother: Kinda. Everytime you start up XCom2 it'll open the Mod-Launcher where you select the mods you want to have active. I think that one is self-explanatory when you see it through. And you're welcome.

Is there a way in ini to make it selectable for ordinary soldiers again? There's the fixer class mod, which is a regular soldier, but is thematically a cyborg, so I want to do this.

@Ash i strongly doubt that.. this mod only activates the voicepacks for EW mec's that is already in the game.. there is no overwrites or anything in this

This mod seems to be overriding and removing the mod giving Mec voices to generic soldiers, can that be resolved?

Just a thought here...

The XCom International Voices Pack adds (some) Russian and Polish voices from XCOM EU/EW for use in XCOM 2. Similarly to the EW MEC mod those voices are added via a large download. The Missing Russian Voices mod adds those Russian voices (and more) in a scripted way, as this mod does.

However, there's not a script mod which adds the Polish voices. If you fancy it...
