Actually it is Lore Friendly (to a degree) (Referencing Felix and Gotrek) - In the 3rd book they Journey into the Chaos Wastes and the Water looked like Blood at some points........ so maybe not on that scale or whatever. Chaos Corruption who can really say what will happen right.

Technically, something like this COULD be possible up in the Chaos Wastes, by turning water into blood. Since when has something ever made sense up there?

hope you will do some with Desert on sourh region and ice on north ,they both look too bright...need to a bit more dark :-) dark and chaos water look good.

What would be cool is if a certain region gains enough corruption the water be affected too with Chaos corruption making it blood red, and Vampire making it very dark.

Would you be willing to make a verison using a bit of both verisons? With dark water all around and the Bloody water up near the nothern area?

@Musha: No it doesn't as both mods edit the same texture, then again this mod is a modified version of dark water, so you can consider dark water included in this one.
